My dog went for a walk and all I got were these lousy fleas.
My dog had fleas. Or possibly still has fleas. I've not found any on him, but he seems to have really got into the habit of a good scratch, so why stop now? Having washed everything in sight, cleaned the carpets, sprayed various other stuff, and used all relevant treatments on the mutt himself, it seemed sensible to have a final bash at the bedroom where he sleeps, just to make sure.I read the reviews of a bunch of these things, and although many seemed to have very similar reslts, according to customers, this brand just appeared to have the edge.First, they're really small. I know, I'm sure it says so in the description, but even so. Surprisingly small.Second, I found they lit really easily, but I was using a long-length lighter doodad which Dad uses for candles because he can get right down inside the jar when they've burned down.I closed the door and left the room for about 5 hours.Coming back, I noticed what other users have described as the smokey smell. It's similar to the smell of party poppers or crackers, so I decided it was almost pleasant. Five minutes with the windows open and a through breeze and it had gone. Some purchasers have mentioned that the whole flea bomb hasn't burned up because it's still got the wick and the red surface/base in the pot. That's just the covering to stop it all falling out - it should still be in there. To be honest, I didn't really see many insects/fleas in there beforehand, but there were a couple of deceased flies and spiders by the window, so it did its job.All in all, easy to use, seems to have worked, and I don't think there's anything to knock about it. I'd use them again. Good job I've still got three left.

Don't buy - absolute rubbish!
Bought these as we have a cat and often find if he has been sleeping in one of the spare rooms for a while he leaves a few friends behind as he spends a lot of time outdoors. I used two of these 1 day apart as first one seemed to have no imp;act and even after two attempts they managed to kill nothing at all., Even the house fly that I left buzzing around in the room and the spider in the corner were both happily doing their thing even after 2nd round of smoking. I have used other Smoke bombs in the past and most are effective but these are the worst ever and complete waste of money. You would probably have more impact on bugs etc. if you asked a load of Cigarette smokers to spend a day puffing away in the room compared to these. Have to question to so called reviews which claim to have had positive results. Save your money and look at alternatives.

Did seem to help a little
Living next to fields, my dogs get fleas each year, spot on drops do nothing for them, I usually get the aerosol flea bombs but thought I'd try these, they did help a little but not fully effective and the rooms had a fire smell for a couple of days after that I wasn't a fan of. Could be that I'm just not used to these.
