This had been my favorite facial cleanser. It is very gentle on my skin and has no strong scent and leaves my skin soft, supple and hydrated.

After using this my face breakout so mad! Triggered my entire forehead! Caused closed comedones and fungal acne!!!Not the best pic but u can clearly see the difference

I didn’t pay for it, so I will only comment on the apparent quality and utility, not on the value. Prices fluctuate regularly and I always recommend shopping around and comparing what’s available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy.This cleanser seems to work well. It’s a mild cleanser, not intended for makeup removal. I have sensitive skin and it had no negative effect after using it daily for 1 week. Other than having skin sensitivity, I don’t have any fungal breakouts or skin issues, so I can’t speak to its effectiveness with those issues. Others have commented on a slight scent from this product, but I don’t smell anything (I’m usually able to detect the slightest scents). I would say that this cleanser is odorless and colorless.It does appear to clean gently but thoroughly. I seems to be an effective emulsifier, pretty good at breaking up and removing skin oils. It doesn’t “strip” your skin, but it did leave my skin feeling dry and maybe needing a little touch of moisturizer after use. This is in conflict with the product information provided which reads “it leaves the skin feeling moisturized immediately after cleansing.” I disagree. It seems to be pretty good at removing surface oil and dirt, but I definitely don’t feel “moisturized" after using it. Otherwise, it works as advertised, without issues to my sensitive skin.I give it four stars.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. Very poor quality, functionality, or other issues.2 Stars: Do not buy. Not as bad as a 1 Star, but it still has major downsides.3 Stars: There are some issues as described in my review. Prior to getting this La Theorie cleanser, I had decided to try out a new brand of cleanser and it did not go well for me. After a few days of using the other cleaner my skin was dry and flaky with painful breakouts across one cheek. I stopped that cleaner and ordered this La Theorie cleanser.I had used La Theorie before and their cleanser had worked very well with my skin in the past so I knew it was going to fix my breakout and heal my dry skin. I was surprised to see that it fully cleared my skin in only 2 days! I knew this was good stuff from the last time I used it but I hadn't realized how good it was for bad skin problems. I am very slow to heal from anything, even dry skin. Two days is an absolute record for healing my skin of a breakout.The cleanser does not have any strong scent and it is very gentle on skin. It comes out of the bottle much more watery feeling than most cleansers but it lathers up very well once you start working it into your skin. It leaves skin clean, hydrated, and feeling lovely.I highly recommend this cleanser to anyone struggling with breakouts. It is the best thing I have found for clearing skin while retaining moisture.

I have fungal acne and love the moisturizer and essence. Was excited to try this but citric acid irritates my skin so this is a no go for me. Otherwise, nice textue and Im sure would be moisturizing for someone else. I did not use it enough to see benefits as my skin reacted to it.

I like the pump bottle, and you really only need one pump of this clear, odorless cleanser to lather up your whole face. It will last a long time!! It cleans my skin well (I don't wear much makeup so not sure its effectiveness with cutting through that) and I haven't had issues with breakouts or skin sensitivity. Paired with a good moisturizing lotion, this is a nice, gentle daily-use cleanser.

This cleansing gel works pretty good. I love that it's not tested on animals. It smells astringent, as expected. It's super easy to use with the pump top. Suds up good and rinses off easily. My only problem is that it dries my hands and my nails out pretty bad. After use, about 15 mins later, I have to apply a light moisturizer. You get a full bottle of gel for a good value. The ingredients are what you expect from a sanitizing product. I've only used it on my hands, for me, this is much to astringent and drying to put on my body. I'm using this gel like a hand, finger and toenail cleaner, followed by a moisturizer. I will update in a couple of weeks and share if it helps remove fungus, I got from a salon visit a few weeks ago, from my nails and cuticles or not. It says it kills fungus and bacteria so I feel it's worth a try.
