La Theorie Dual Effect (Cream) Essence for troubled skin with fungal and small bumps (Fatty Acid Free, 1.35 Fl Oz)

I have combination skin. It's my favorite product. It feels comfortable when applied. It soothes even when bumps come up on the skin due to the change of seasons or condition, and is good for moisture and elasticity.I also like this brand of cream. It's good because it contains squalene.

This product contains arginine + squalene which is a combo NOT recommended for fungal acne. I don't understand how it can be advertised as a product for fungal acne with this combination...

Magic in a tube! Lightweight, moisturizing calms red down. Will buy again.

All the other reviews seem to be incentivized, so hopefully you can fish this review out from the lot, read to understand why I have given this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.I have oily sensitive acne prone skin. It goes on nice but it does leave a little greasy film, I think it’s the petrolatum, its texture is like a much thicker gel cream.I guess I am comparing this to other barrier creams from RegimenLab, Skinceuticals etc. I only use it at night so the greasiness doesn’t bother me, you would only notice the greasiness if you are used to using more elegant barrier repair formulations like I mentioned above.I used it on a damaged skin barrier after 1 night, my skin felt greasy to the touch but was still tight and dry under, in comparison to the other products I listed like RegimenLab (my skin felt supple after 1 night of use on a damaged skin barrier), the TEWL for this dual essence product is probably still high - surprisingly given it has petrolatum high up in the ingredientsWill not be repurchasing as it is not moisturizing enough for people using tretinoin or Adapalene.

I can see some difference with timeI used other products along with this one, I will buy again

I've been using La Theorie Dual Effect (Cream) Essence for a while now, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. This essence is incredibly easy to apply, and it keeps my skin moisturized throughout the entire day. I’ve noticed that my skin tone has become a bit more even and I’m experiencing fewer skin troubles now. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to improve their skin’s moisture levels and achieve a more balanced complexion.

I really like this moisturizer and I am still using this on a weekly basis. Whenever I want something gentle or when I'm breaking out for the month (hormonal), I reach for this. I have noticed a difference and I don't get as many breakouts when I use this. Although my breakouts are usually small, I would prefer not to have them which is why this cream comes in very handy. I've even tried using other moisturizers and noticed that when I come back to this I don't get as many, if any, little bumps appear on my face. This is really great for fungal imbalance on the skin as the stock photos show. I recently had a laser procedure done on my skin and at first I used the face moisturizer the derm provided but after I ran out of that this is what I used. It felt gentle and was a good choice for my skin as it was going through the last stages of 'healing'. I like how moisturizing it is and I like the consistency and texture. There is no fragrance, not even that 'no fragrance' scent some moisturizers seem to have. I also made sure to look at the ingredients list and didn't see anything that was a cause for concern. This is one I will be repurchasing soon as I have about 20% left. I recommend giving this one a chance, it really is a great moisturizer that feels gentle yet does a good job of providing moisture.
