I’m a master oc instructor and use Sabre products daily as a corrections officer. Purchased this for my girlfriend to carry into places that she can’t take her gun. It’s perfect because it serves a purpose for that as well as a panic alarm for a situation where she does have a gun but needs to call for help! Alerts me as soon as it’s activated. Love that the canisters are replaceable, especially since OC does expire, and love that there is a training canister included so she can get comfortable with how it works! Men you need to buy this for the woman you love! Awesome inexpensive gift that may save their life!

I got this for myself and I definitely feel more at ease. I love that it’s smart and Bluetooth connected so I feel 10x more safe than holding a regular pepper spray!

The app doesnt work, i want my money back

I am writing because I just purchased it.As part of the setup, I had to send a test text to my contact who received it immediately!Maybe the software has improved.In addition, I am definitely receiving notifications that the spray is disconnected if my pepper spray is too far away from my phone.

This is really a good product. It is well made .

I consider things like pepper spray to be a form of insurance. You hope you never have to use it but know that it is there if you need it. My wife has carried a Sabre pepper spray canister for years when out walking the dogs, and thankfully has never had to deploy it in a real world situation. We "practice" with the old canister every time we buy an updated refill. This set comes with a practice canister that uses water to simulate the spray you would get out of the real device. That makes it easy to get a feel for how far it projects and how to aim it. The directions even suggest getting a life-size paper target to practice hitting the eyes.The really cool feature of this particular unit is that you can download an app that pairs the pepper spray housing with your phone. If the spray is deployed it automatically send an alert to your specified contacts and then uses GPS tracking to show where the unit is. This additional feature not only insures that non-lethal self defense is close at hand but also that someone will be notified if it is ever used.The trigger has a protective cover so you don't unintentionally set it off that flips out of the when you need to use the spray. This insures that it's safe to carry but ready to go at a moments notice. All in all, this is an inexpensive way to provide a lot of peace of mind in a tumultuous world.
