Best Device So Far
This is a real interesting device with a lot of pros and few cons.1). It's worth it for the strobe alone and it's a REAL strobe. 1 click for low, another for high, 2 quick clicks for strobe and you will blind anyone at night and works 70% as well in the daytime.2). It's solid metal so that when you move in with the strobe, you can easily crack someone in the forehead/skull using the front of the flashlight in a stabbing motion.3). It comes with a metal clip that is actually worth a darn and works well, unlike some other SABRE products.4). Would prefer that it used SABRE gel instead of spray. Pay attention to the wind.5). Deploying the spray while using the flashlight is simple enough, but feels wrong (goofy) to take the light off the target in order to spray the target because it decreases your ability to aim precisely. Technically, if you lower the light to use the spray as they recommend, you are shooting/aiming blind in the dark for that split second and the person could be moving and you will miss. Remember: Body shots do not count, only face shots count and that's a much smaller target. But this is the best solution/integration of all these features so far which is why it gets a 5-star.What they need to do next is route the spray in the same direction as the light. Now THAT would be useful.

Higly recommedned for security professionals, dog walkers, and joggers.
I love this item! It combines a bright flashlight and pepper spray. Rather than carrying 2 separate devices, this allows me to have 1 item that does the job of both. I have recommended this to multiple people who have all bought this and love it too.

Very bright light, solid feel, my go to flashlight for dog walks
It is almost perfect. The only thing I would like improved is the tactical feel of where the light switch is. In the pitch black darkness, it takes me a couple seconds to feel where the light switch is. The pepper spray button is easy to find. The light is super bright on the first click, so when dog walking I click twice to dim it some. I like the two in one feature, it gives me a sense of security on evening dog walks (from potentially loose dogs). The weight feels perfect, not too light, feels solid. If they sold a red light version of this, I would definitely buy it also. When picking up dog pooh, it would be nice not to light up the entire neighborhood.

Tactical, but not so practical!
First, I really love PepperLight’s fit and finish. Mostly metal construction makes it look and feel strong and up to the challenge. A powerful flashlight with three modes of High, Low and Strobe settings, combined with a Pepper Spray on the other end of the unit, makes it very formidable. However, this device has a few drawbacks as well. Mostly, what makes it strong and versatile also makes it cumbersome. Compared to simple plastic body pepper sprays, this one is heavier due to its size and metal construction. This adds extra inertia when manipulating the device during the transition from flashlight to pepper spray hold. Moreover, due to its size, it is almost impossible to carry it in the front pocket and stage it while holding it concealed inside your pocket. As a result, it needs to be staged outside, while carrying it in your hand. This takes away its initiative advantage, at the same time providing some additional deterrence advantage. The biggest flaw of PepperLight, I believe, is its pocket clip. The clip is too narrow, weak, and made of soft metal which provides little to no holding power when carrying it in any pocket, including the cargo ones. I am constantly conscious about the possibility of it falling due to this weak clamping force of the clip.Overall, this is a great self-protection device if you are planning on using it on a relatively prearranged and deliberate manner rather than spontaneously.

Neat tool to have.
This is some really potent spray. The flashlight is extremely bright and reliable. Make sure you use a cotton swab to wipe the nozzle after test spraying because the hole could get clogged. I test sprayed a small burst in my sink and simply being close enough to the liquid was enough to make me cough, eyes water, and sneeze a few times. I had to quickly wash it down and leave the bathroom. I can't even imagine this being sprayed on my face, it's that powerful. Definitely use it for self defense only and escape.

A Latina friend uses it and thinks it is excellent.
Purchased as a gift for a friend. She lives in an area that is not the safest for a young woman alone, but she does not have a lot of choice. She has to walk down some dark steps to reach her home from the parking area and the light is very bright. Once she was attacked and used the pepper spray. He was properly blinded, but it only slowed his attack. She did get away without injury; likely because her attacker was slowed by the spray. He did manage to take the light away from her, so I bought her another. The negatives are that the batteries are a bit expensive to replace and no holster is available for it. I bought some rechargeable batteries for it, but I haven't tried them yet. It is a proper size for what it is, but too big for pocket carry. It has a belt clip, but I have lost devices because they can become unclipped easily. Likely I could find something I could use as a holster, but that will require some looking around and guessing.Sabre sells a replacement pepper spray cartridge. Haven't tried to replace one, so I hope it works. However, it gives the light/spray a much longer life.I don't suffer the same kinds of risks as my friend, but I thought it to be very cool and there is always that chance, so I bought one for myself.

Change the battery with a new lithium123 on arrival. Makes it brighter.
