Toto C5 Washlet Bidet
I had family members encouraging me to try bidets, so after years of ignoring their suggestions, I finally relented and bought one. I had never tried a bidet before, but I was pretty sure that I didn't want a basic one without bells and whistles, so I settled on the Toto C5. Installation was incredibly simple, with everything needed included in the kit. The biggest issue was getting an outlet close enough to plug in the bidet, which was ultimately also a relatively simple solution by snaking an extension cord under the vanity. I chose the C5 with its hand-held remote over the C2 which has a control panel affixed to the right side of the bidet. Good choice, as it seems to be much easier to access the functions without having to twist to find the right buttons to push on the C2 panel. The features of the bidet are functional and thoughtful. The features are well described in the product information, so no point in repeating them here, other than to say that they all function as described. Since I had never used a basic cold water, non electric bidet, I can't compare the C5 against anything else, other to say that I can't imagine using anything less than the one that I purchased. The heated seat, warm water, and warm air drying are amazing, and the deodorizing & self cleaning appear to work well. If you prefer to not have heated seat and water available 24X7, it also has an Auto Energy Saving mode, which detects periods of infrequent use. This also seems to work well in my first few weeks of use. The warm water reservoir provides heated water for about 60 seconds, then gradually gets cooler. For me, this is sufficient, as it heats up again fairly quickly if needed. The more expensive K300 model provides unlimited hot water if that is a requirement. The Toto C5 has made me a convert to bidets, and I really have no desire to use a standard toilet seat again unless there is no choice.

You won’t regret this purchase
A friend told me a few years ago that bidets were the best thing going. Being a stubborn boomer, I ignored him and continued to destroy my nether regions with TP and various methods of assuring complete cleanliness. Finally, push came to shove (ha!) and I needed a solution for my worsening issue with, well, you know what. So I read the reviews, Amazon, Wirecutter, etc, and chose the Toto. It is, quite simply, life-changing.First: ease of install. Yes. And while you don’t have to be a plumber or electrician to install, take your time, read the directions, don’t use tools to tighten where they tell you not to use tools, and you’ll be fine. I have no leaks, no issues. I wish, however that I had a plug closer to the toilet instead of using an extension cord…an easy enough fix.Using: read the directions on what the symbols on the remote mean. I’m a typical male, so I didn’t, figuring I could easily translate the symbols. Nope. If you’ve never used a bidet, read the directions.Does it work? Oh my yes. After an initial adjustment period and experimentation, it is perfect for my nether region’s requirements for absolute cleanliness and “debris” removal.Regrets? Only one, and it’s by no means the fault of my Toto Seat. When I replaced the toilets in my house a few years ago, I screwed up, buying one round bowl and one long bowl. Toto makes seats for both, and I’d be happier if I had a long bowl toilet and a long bowl seat/bidet. But for most, round will be fine, and for now it’s fine for me as well. The heated seat, fan, and warm-water functions are wonderful. The seat is sturdy and appears to be durable. Unlike actual bidet units such as you see 9n Europe, the unit isn’t intimidating and the working bits retract into the seat when not being used, and automatically rinses everything that needs to be rinsed off.In short, buy it. You’ll absolutely love it, as do I. Worth every penny.

MIssing Japan and its toilets? Buy THIS! No regrets.
Bought this during an Prime Days sale, and have no regrets. Missing Japan, and specifically the toilets in Japan, and since my siblings and most of my friends have them, I had to get a bidet-style toilet seat. The best experience came with the Toto toilets in Japan, so I bought the C5....seeing that it was on a Prime Days sale, it was a no-brainer. Had to have GFCI outlets installed just above the baseboards in both bathrooms that would be getting Washlets installed -- this was the best decision I've made in this house so far, as those outlets proved to be very strategic in placement, and plugging in the Washlet was a breeze. Installation of the Washlet itself wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy -- the directions claim it will take close to 45 minutes, and it took at least 30 minutes more than that. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, it will prove to be critical -- I even downloaded the BILT app that had great step-by-step instructions with great visuals and hints and references, and was very, very helpful. Sooooo, a lot of sweat, and a lot of bending over (I regretted this part, as the area around my toilet is not super accessible, and my glutes/hamstrings were screaming the next day), and a little bit of cussing, the Washlet was installed beautifully. And, upon its first use, I realized I made a great purchase, and it immediately brought immense joy and memories of my trip to Japan. And, the Washlet performed as exactly described - warm seat, warm water, excellent water pressure, it performs EXACTLY as described. My only qualm is that it doesn't hold a lot of hot water, and doesn't have continuous hot water (I wasn't willing to pay thousands for a Washlet that has continuous hot water). But my butt is happy, and thus overall I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Waiting for another "sale" so I can buy another for the other bathroom.

Best for the money
The bide works very well and was easy to set up. I bought this for my elderly parent and he loves it. Much easier and less messy to clean up. I had to label the controls 1,2,3,4 (wash, oscillate, dry, stop) for my parent so they could easily run the control. I have a s7 and besides being slimmer (not a big deal) the s7 has endless warm water, compared to the c5 that has a tank and is limited to how much warm water you have during washing. Bottom line, for the price, this is a great bide and worth getting.
