This is it if you’re drilling stones for jewelry!
I had a dream and a Dremel that I wanted to use to drill holes in stones for jewelry. Initially the internet suggested that I:1) get the adapter to turn my dremel into a drill press (great advice), and2) use diamond-coated grinding bits to do this (terrible)I ended up with a broken stone after 15 minutes of trying to gently work through the stone (it also barely made a dent before the stone broke), SO, I flipped back through the different options, and then I bought theseLIKE A HOT KNIFE THROUGH BUTTER in comparison. Drilled 5 stones so far, each one took less than a minute and turned out perfectly. They come with the correct-sized cup to hold the various-sized bits in your Dremel. No issues, a million stars.

1 mm diamond coated, fluted drill bit
The most important thing to keep in mind is that these are only 1 mm diameter, that is very very tiny! As such, any binding at all will break them instantly. That means an unusually hard spot in what you're drilling, tilting your Dremel on any angle outside of perfectly square once you have a hole started, and just as the bit breaks through the bottom side of what you're drilling. As for cutting performance, it takes a significant amount of patients and an extremely steady handIn terms of performance, frankly I was disappointed. I expected them to cut much much more aggressively.Even with generous amounts of water, an exceedingly steady hand, and a sensitive touch, it took nearly a minute to get through a one and a half millimeter thick seashell. I expected it to take a few seconds.

Works Great - as Advertised!
This diamond drill bit set works exactly as the description claims. We use these in a Dremel tool. (The set comes with the adapter pieces that hold the bit snug). They do take some time to drill through thick materials, but we were able to drill through glass easily by starting at an angle, then straightening out. The trick is to be patient, and do some test pieces to get the pressure right, and a feel for it. We purchased a small $10 metal vice with a plastic clamp piece on Amazon as well, which we set in a bowl of water to hold the pieces for the drilling process, and that worked excellent. The bits seem very strong and well-made. Quality product, and nice that you get so many for the price! Highly recommend for jewelry making, crafts, drilling beach stones, etc. just don’t forget you have to drill under water!

Poor quality
Too small for the Dremel to grab, they just break. The little sleeve it came with is uselessVery poor quality.Don’t waste your money and time having to send this back! Not worth it.
