Since getting back into woodwork I have realised that I needed so many 'little' bits and pieces in order to get the finishes I require. So when doing 'pocket joints' I needed to somehow hide the holes - enter this wood cutter set.The set has already proved its worth, saving a lot of time (and stress). The bits are all nice and sharp and do exactly what they need to do. What more can I say apart from, I am more than happy to recommend these.

These plug cutters are reasonable quality and cut an accurate plug. I have used them extensively, since I purchased them, and have had good value. However they are now becoming blunt. I would be happy to replace them like for like.

Great set of bits that include eight different bits. There are four tapered drill bits and four four claw drill bits. Each type come in four different sizes, 6mm,10mm,13mm and 16mm. They are made from highly durable carbon steel and are made to a very high quality. The bits work in a regular drill but if you've an unsteady hand it might be better to use them in a bench drill. All the bits work perfectly and give very good results, makes very quick work of wood and they are ideal for use with dowels. These can be used for a variety of jobs and are always a good addition to any tool kit. Really pleased with them.

Removing to broken screws in a chair back.

After buying a cheap set of plug cutters a couple of years ago that really burnt the wood and weren't great I wanted a particular sized cutter for a job I was doing and bought this set as the most economical way of getting them. I was pleasantly surprised - using a drill press they work well, still a little burning but they cut accurately - obviously the drill press helps when compared to a hand drill though.

Item arrived promptly and as described. However, the blades are not very sharp leading to poor quality wooden plugs when drilling in softwood.

The gap in the cutting blade is to wide and the core is getting stuck. i had a set from somewhere else which work great but i lost the small core cutter so i bought another set thinking they would be the same but there not , the peg cutter doesnt match to the hole cutter there to big ?

Bought to fill some holes on scaffold board furniture. Used them to make plugs for the screw holes. Added some glue, tapped them in and looks good now. For the price cant grumble. Arrived in a bag and seem sharp enough.
