Gorilla 5044360 Glue Wood Glue 1L

I bought this 118ml Gorilla Wood Glue to strengthen a flat‑pack wine rack that used dowels, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performed. Once applied, the joints tightened up beautifully and the whole rack feels much sturdier than it ever would have straight out of the box. Application is effortless. The glue flows easily from the bottle, giving you great control, and it stays workable long enough to adjust everything into perfect alignment before it starts to set. The screw‑top cap seals firmly too, so the remaining glue stays fresh for future projects. Strong, fast‑setting and water‑resistant – exactly what you want from a wood glue. A great addition to any DIY toolkit.

This stuff is magic, I had a cabinet that had fallen to pieces and I tried wood glue, extra screws and it still wobbled. But with gorilla glue it's holding really well, it's easy to apply, dries in 30 mins and is flexible but holds really well. I've still got loads left over and I used alot of glue to wield it all together so it's really good value for the size of the bottle. Definitely highly recommend, now my only problem is finding more furniture to glue together 😂.

I’m a hobby woodworker and have used many different types of glue over the years. Gorilla Glue is easy to work with and also makes the best putty-style glue I’ve found. It doesn’t run everywhere like some others and bonds quickly. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would definitely recommend giving it a go.

Much larger then what I thought but well worth the money, I always run out of this stuff when doing projects so as I’m doing the kitchen I thought why not glad I bought the one litre. The glue is brilliant strong, I used it to build a water tower that worked under compressive forces and eventually when I had to replace it the joints ended up stronger then the frame so the glue is brilliant.

Another great gorilla product. The door on my IKEA sideboard was loose and you could see the wooden peg at the top. I squeezed some of this in and rubbed away the excess and it has kept it all in place. It was easy to use and control and you only need a little bit so I will have loads left. The caps closes well to keep it ready to use later. Wipe excess spills away and it dried clear.

Bought the big 1L bottle of wood glue ahead of doing a shelving build; my main needs were to laminate two 18mm MDF sheets together to form stronger, thicker boards for the main shell of the shelves, to avoid sagging and to have a chunkier look. I used the Gorilla wood glue, applied sufficiently and spread around so that the full contact area was lightly covered, and tightly clamped together. (For good measure I also drilled holes to take wooden dowels for additional strength for any lateral movement ahead of achieving a full bond.) Having allowed about 24 hours for the glue to bond fully, I am pretty confident that the glue bond is stronger than the MDF it is applied to, and after some sanding of the edges it's quite difficult to tell that the laminated board is anything other than a nice chunky 36mm thick board. My other use will be to glue the horizontal shelves into the routed dados (approx. 10mm deep in each laminated 36mm vertical) and I'm sure they'll be very stable when done. So, the glue works, it's easy to use, you get a decent amount for a fair price, it doesn't leak, seems strong when set (allow 24hrs) and meets all the expectations of a decent wood glue, so it gets the thumbs up from me.

Good glue I find this version better to use than others , handy sized bottle with a easy to use pull up push down nozzle which if necessary can be cleaned easily. Has good adhesion properties , gives you time to position your work piece correctly before it sets .
