No buy a magnetic sight that is what I use.

Q: Dose keeping the factory bead on the gun effect the brightness of this sight when you look down the barrel?

No. The light is gathered by the sides of the fiber optic tube and shines out the ends. You can hold it in your hand and cover one end of it without seeing any darkening on the other.

Q: i look at the picture and see no dual color only gray. is the picture wrong

Yes the picture is wrong. The outside ring is green with a red dot in the middle. Excellent fiber optic for the money! I have one on every shotgun I own

the two i had ordered did not come with the tape either i just used silicone
