Absolutely PERFECT & delivered right to my front door! WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?! to my door!
***There were some reviewers who were looking for the Canadian version of these and Amazon DOES have them under the brand name 'McCormick'. I didn't care for them because they are not firm but marshmallow peep like and the sugar is a larger grain and darker in color. I wanted to let the folks who are searching for the Canadian Tagada / Primavera look under McCormick. They're close to the originals but not quite as sharp in flavor, the European ones have a sour kind of bite to them.I absolutely LOVE these! I grew up in Maghery Ireland and 1st discovered them in Paris on family holiday under the name 'Tagada'. I later rediscovered them in Bergheim Germany undet the name 'Primavera'.Both are 'Haribo' brand and both delicious. They are SUPPOSED to be a little hard when you first put them in your mouth. As they warm up and you start chewing them you find they are soft and creamy in the middle.I discovered something SIMILAR here on Amazon which come from Canada and the manufacturer is 'McCormick'. I did NOT like those at all! They are soft like peeps marshmallow chicks that you get at easter. They are basically little marshmallows made in the shape of 'Tagada' but they do not have that sweet & sour taste that the Haribo brand is known for. They are super sweet and the taste of the strawberry doesn't permeate the marshmallow like 'Haribo' brand does.Haribo makes them in banana, strawberry, bubblegum and grape. I have found all but the grape on Amazon. I looked everywhere for the grape but can't find them. I am so Glad to find most of my European favorites here on Amazon.

I feel like a kid again
There are certain items which remind us of childhood. Some items taste better when we were kids. Either we remembered them wrong or our taste buds have changed. Sometimes the producer has changed the recipe either to skimp out on ingredients to make it cheaper to ptoduce or trying to improve on the taste. These taste the same. They're not like gummi bears. The texture is slightly chewy maybe like a harder marshmallow. My kids have never tried them until I purchased them and they love it and so do I. I recommend the tub not the bags. Do your family a favor and order these.

German candy you will absolutely love.
This is exactly what I remember from my childhood growing up in Germany. I forgot just how good and addictive these were. Don't let the picture fool you either, this is a lot of candy.

This item isn’t fresh- tasted old and hard
This item tasted old and not fresh. I normally like this brand but I bought these for a party and they taste so old and hard I can’t use them.

Good but not the same
I, like several others am looking for the Canadian Strawberries from youth. These are not shaped at all as the original, The sugar is thicker and flavor stronger. All and all I would order again. Mine were a little hard, maybe 1/2 way from soft. I put them in air tight container with a piece of bread for a few days and they are fine, Ya just cant remake the original.
