Does the trick as a one-wire alternator
Used this for an old Clark forklift. No complaints, and was happy it came with the small rubber plug for the two spade terminals. But I have it setup simply as a one wire alternator. A quick little rev of the engine and the alternator wakes up and does its job, charging at approx 14.5V. Would buy again, and will update review if it fails; I’m good about that. I was hoping to switch my dual belt pulley from the old alternator to the new one, but the new one has a shorter shaft that protrudes less from the body. No big deal, I just used the single belt pulley it came with and am using one belt instead of two. No complaints, no problems.

Solid
I had intermittent charging issues with the full 0 regulation stock alternator and it murdered a few batteries. No wiring change this one runs 14.9 volts at the poll and 14.2 at the battery after the external regulator. Insane quality to price ratio. 71 corvette.

Works well, good price, very loud
I don't have a way to measure if it really outputs all the way up to 105A. My battery does seem to be charged, so it seems to be at least good enough. It is much louder than my last alternator. A high pitch whirring/whining sound that competes with the engine and (mechanical) engine fan for who's loudest.

Perfect improvement to low output generators.
This item is the same size as most gm alternators, but output of 105 with one wire hook up(or a three wire if you prefer), makes installation a snap. If you prefer 3 wire be sure to install a diode in the wire feeding your gen lite to avoid the inability to shut the engine off. A very versatile alternator for the price.

Worked for 4 weeks, then it made 19volts and melted my wires and then broke
We’re great for four weeks… light on the dash got super bright looked at the voltmeter so I was making 19 V shortly after alternator burnt out

Simple to install and wire.
Just finished my hot rod. Alternator works great. Easy to wire with warning light.

1 wire Install, clockable.
Was worried when I got it because the pins were facing the engine when installed but it was easy to clock it the way I needed it. also turned out I didn't need the pins because it does actually function as a 1 wire (just the charging wire) alternator, no wires attached to the pins. I did read that it may need to be manually excited by connecting the excite pin to the output momentarily while its running when the alternator is first installed, or if its been not ran in a long time to get it to start charging, mine did not need this however. Do have to rev the engine up to about 1500 before it starts charging but then it stays on after that which is why I was replacing my old one. Not sure if it really can produce 100amp but its doing well so far. Oh also the finish is not the same as in the picture, mine came silver fan and black pulley.

Its OK
It has aluminum wire winding for the coil and the diodes in the rectifier aren't glued on too well. I recommend replacing the rectifier wither a higher quality one for longevity.
