I love these mushrooms SO MUCH, 😋🤤!!!! They are and delicious, and they come compressed in these tiny little squares..... They're super simple to expand - you just plop them in warm water for like 10 min and they rehydrate, leaving you with a TON of incredible, moist, tasty black fungus 🍄‍🟫 wood ear mushrooms🍄!!!! They go perfectly in Asian soups, on burgers, etc etc..... whatever you choose to put them in)on. .... ..You really get a LOT for the price!!!! Excellent product! High quality wood ear mushrooms, extra tasty and crunchy. This made my hot and sour soup so delicious. Don't let the small packages fool you! These things really do expand about 10 times the size that you see in the box. Would highly recommend!

I'm not a tree ear connoisseur, but these seemed fine for my purposes. I made some sensational hot and sour soup, and they reconstituted beautifully.

This package comes with 10 little compressed bricks of Whittier mushrooms. I know it's strange but I love super cute small things, and I could not understand how there were so many mushrooms in one of these small two by one inch bricks. I broke off a corner of one of these bricks and soaked it in warm water for 30 minutes and I wish shocked at how many mushrooms I had! Easily enough for three bowls of ramen. What are your mushrooms are one of the best additions to ramen in my opinion and I will probably have enough mushrooms for at least 6 months. That is if I eat ramen a few times a week.Flavor and texture after rehydrated is wonderful, this is a delicious product and a great buy!

These come in boxes of dried mushrooms compressed into a block. I have used them twice, first using nearly half a block, and second time about 1/4 of a block, and both times I got way more than I expected or wanted. They expand so exponentially it is amazing, but they are WHOLE mushrooms, and I wanted sliced, so I have to slice them up after they are rehydrated. They taste fine, but for the nuisance of having to slice them, I give them only 4 stars.

Awesome wood-ears, taste similar to fresh ones. there is an asian market 20 minutes away, but sometimes i don't feel like dealing with traffic and parking. when i received i was a bit shocked at the size (each is the size of a small matchbox), and skeptical that they would expand to anything substantial, but i got around 2 cups after soaking in hot water for 5 minutes or so. The packaging is very nice - each block is individually shrink-wrapped and packed in a mini box, all 10 are packed in a larger box. I've only seen these mushrooms sold in bags - this is a great idea as it saves room in my crowded pantry.

My go-to brand for woodear mushroom, so much comes in a pack, lasts me months!
