Great ice cream scoop, ordered an extra

Nice grip. Reliable performance

After all these years of struggling with scooping ice cream straight out of the freezer, I have finally found a product to make it easy. The material warms up the ice cream faster then a regular scoop allowing me to easily scoop without having to wait.

My sister picked one of these up for our extended family this Summer and we went through a ton of ice cream. It was incredibly easy to scoop using this ice cream scoop. Even ice cream that was hard as a rock was no match for this scoop. We liked it so much that we bought one for our own home and it has been put to very good use.

I have no idea what this ice cream scoop is made out of but it is amazing. Doesn't matter how hard my ice cream is, it always scoops with ease. I've had it for a couple of years now and I'm amazed.

Works great built well

really good for ice cream, but no safe for dishwasher in my case.

This seems to be a new version of the old Zyliss ice cream scoop I've always loved. The handle is a bit thinner, and the edges of the handle are less rounded, both allowing for a better grip, especially if you have smaller hands, as I do. Both scoops are covered with nonstick coating that allows you to draw it through hard ice cream more easily. I don't care which of the two I use since both versions work well.The scoop is supposedy dishwasher-safe, although my previous Zyliss scoops' surfaces eventually bubbled up a bit after a couple of years. It didn't affect the usefulness, and it didn't ever flake off. Aesthetically, however, it was disappointing. If you get this otherwise excellent scoop, you may have to choose between convenience (the dishwasher) and longevity of the surface (hand-washing.)-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
