Purchased a cricut explorer air 2, which blades are used for fabric red yellow or blue?

30° - yellow is for thin materials like windows tint, film, or rice paper 45° - red is for standard materials like paper ,vinly, stickers, some light card stocks 60° - blue is for card stock, fabric, magnets and cork

Will these work for shrink film?

I’ve used the red ones on shrink film I set in plastic canvas so it does two passes. Then I “punch” them out gently. Another pass would be perfect—I’m just not that patient.

Dull. They dont cut theough anything. Can i return them?

Will these blades engrave on dog tags

Tungsten carbide is much harder than any material I know of that has been used for dog tags, however, these blades are fine edged, designed for cutting thin materials, not engraving. While certainly could be done, I'd expect the very sharp and fine points might have a tendency to stick in the metal and jump around. If you have a diamond sharpener, you could reprofile the blades to be more suitable, but you're probably best off buying dedicated engraver points if they're available.

bought for my explorer air 2. fits perfectly. blades are sharp & can get more than enough cuts before needing a new blade. this set comes with 3 different point blades. all blades cut smoothly with little to no pressure adjustments. i dont use my cricut often so this set has lasted me months. affordable price, buying more when needed would've be an issue

UPDATE : I contacted the seller and they responded super fast to either issue a refund or a replacement. They were easy to get a hold of and quick to resolve the issue. I will be reordering from them when I am up for new blades (I purchased different ones) just based on how they handled my concern.All the reviews are great and I think I got a bad batch. I installed the standard media blade in my explore air 2 and it did not cut my vinyl. I ensured it was in properly and nothing. It fits perfect it’s just not cutting the way it’s advertised to.
