Short but sweet
For artists that want to improve drawing from imagination this is a great little book with some excellent examples on how to simplify anatomical forms. It particularly helped me with some of the tricky to decipher areas like the hips.I personally prefer this to some of the more renowned instructional books such as loomis or bridgeman. Loomis’ book is too wordy for me and I’m personally not a fan of how his figures look. Bridgeman has the style nailed but his drawings are loose and abstract and the text is like reading some cryptic language. This book however is simple, easy to understand, and most importantly the drawings themselves look great.

Really good, a bit small!
These books are excellent pocket guides to anatomy, the illustrations are all high quality and good to reference- and the text is readable! They're really good for helping improve drawing from imagination. It also opens and lays flat, which is brilliant for referencing. However, pocket guide is literal. These are only A5 and are no bigger than 1-2 cm. The images on the listing don't do the actual size of this book justice, and like a lot of reviews here, I was expecting something bigger. The binding is also only glued on one side, which does allow the book to lay flat, but makes the book feel a tad flimsy.Despite it's flaws, I'd still reccomend these books, just be aware of the small sizing.

Excellent
Descriptive and easy to follow. An excellent companion for the budding artist venturing into the world of life drawing . Reinforces your understanding of proportions, shape and form as akin to the human anatomy.

GREAT LITTLE BOOK --- could've been of 1/5th bigger format
Actually, top-notch. Great binding. The format may seem too small for some though. Have been expecting the content of this very book to be heavily borrowed from Bridgeman and Hampton's legacy, however, it is much more than that. This is Lauricella's book and Lauricella's approach to the matter. It is worth reading the text in fact. Really good.

Would not recommend this for the price or quality
Quite shocked at the size and quality of this book for the price its very basic and for the price I would not buy it or any over of his books I did look at some of his other titles before this book turned up so glad I did not buy it because they were even more expensiveAs I first opened this book the book cover came away from the spine the cover is too stiff for a paperback book

Helpful and pocket sized
This is my first book from the MORPHO series and For someone who likes to go out and study in a café or other social spaces this is perfect. The spine of the book is not attached which makes the book lay flat with little effort nicely so you aren't fighting the pages. the content itself is handy so far and I am only partway through the book.
