Q: Would this work on aluminum sleeves that are made for 1/8" cable? It says 1/16" to 1/8" but is that the size of the sleeve or the cable?

Standard sizing practice. 1/8 refers to 1/8 inch crimps, sleeves, wire rope. I.E. all 1/8 inch accessories and consumables. The sleeves themselves are way bigger than 1/8" in dementions. So it cannot be referring to the sleeves.

Yes, this tool can crimp 3/32", you can use second hole to crimp it.

Q: Need to crimp 3/32 control cable nicopress ferrules for an ultralight aircraft. Has anyone used for this purpose ?

I haven't used it for aircraft cabling. Only anticipated for gazebo wire runs. I can't make a recommendation for ultralights, I don't have the specs.
