In the mens i would say xl was a 16-18

Q: Can you tell me the chest size of the XL please?

Husband is about 48 to 50 chest and fit him with room to spare, his spare tyre is bigger and managed to hide that with plenty of room to breathe. Very roomy and comfortable, the trousers are elastic waist he had to wear jogging bottoms underneath as the material is quite thin, t shirt required under the jacket as the shirt and tie are just an insert of material. Worked really well. Hope this helps.
