Suntory Yamazaki 18 Years Old Single Malt Whisky 70 cl

This Whisky is certainly one of the best I have had the pleasure to sample, aromas of toffee, marzipan and vanilla, on tasting the whisky it was very smooth with hints of dark fruits and had a nice long finish which lasted on the palate.All in all Suntory Yamizaki is a great Whisky, I only wish it was more affordable, is it worth £100 im not sure but it certainly is an exellent tipple.

Very pleased with the delivery of this product. I got it within less than three days! Plus this whisky is top notch! One of the best whiskys produced this year and quite difficult to find as well. Its got some very deep flavours which are remarquable and make it a unique product.

One of the best whiskies I have ever tasted. The only problem is that because of the scarcity, the price for the 18 years bottle has been marked up to now ridiculous prices.

This was my first single malt from Japan and it's a very nice drink - lots of flavour to it

Tried this (not from ordering a whole bottle I might add). After initial sherry on the nose, opened out to treacle and a resin note that kept coming back. This wasn't unpleasant, and made it interesting, but restrained some of the nicer fruit notes that should have been there. Taste had ginger, cigars, and some sweetness coming through. Aftertaste had orange peel, but more towards the fibrous, dry part. Every stage was reigned back in by the resinous note, and while I did enjoy this, I think it has been overhyped. Definitely not worth the exorbitant price it now goes for 2nd hand.Overall, a really interesting one to try, and certainly not bad by any means. But not a 5/5 for sure. There is way better out there for half the price.
