Girl's English Nanny Costume

Practically perfect in every way!Perfect fit, perfect look. The fabric is on the thin side, but you’d never know by looking at it. The whole thing looks very high-end, so the value is definitely good for the money. My daughter says it was extremely comfortable.The accessories are also wonderful. I like the headband attachment to hold the hat on, and the velcro flowers are a nice design. The parrot head didn’t want to fit over the handle of the umbrella I was using, so I just extended the slit on it a bit, and it worked like a charm.My daughter had soooo many compliments this Halloween, she is convinced she was given extra candy, so she wants to wear it again next year. Works for me! This is easily the most impressive costume she’s ever had.

Great costume, fits true to size. My daughter is a petite 10 year old, the size of a typical 8 year old. We got a size medium and fits beautifully. She is using this for a school musical and I’m confident it’ll still fit come Halloween in 6 months. The skirt is a tad long (my daughter is not very tall), but it’s still manageable by wearing it higher on the waist. The skirt would likely need to be taken in for a thinner child, but the elastic has plenty of give still for a child with a thicker build…it’s very adaptable to all shapes and sizes.The costume comes with the everything but the umbrella and shoes. Not shown in the picture is the parrot you can add to the end of your own black umbrella. You will need a black umbrella with a thin, straight handle for parrot to fit.My daughter absolutely loves this costume, totally worth the price! If you’re hesitant to purchase this, go for it! You won’t regret it!

This costume was perfect for what we were looking for. It came with everything needed except the umbrella and shoes. It was very comfortable for my daughter and all of the accessories were well made and perfect to complete the look.

This was the cutest costume ever, it comes with pretty much everything you need. I also purchased an umbrella. It’s about the quality you would expect from a kids costume, very thin crap fabric. But it was adorable anyway!

I almost didn't buy this costume because it's hard to spend more than $30 on a child's costume for a "penny-pincher" like me. I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT!!! This costume is well made and it's absolutely darling. Everywhere we went people raved about my daughter in this costume. We made so many wonderful memories with this costume! I added red lipstick (it really added to the costume), and I bought a $7 umbrella at Walmart and scraped off the foam handle just enough to make the bird attachment hold to the umbrella. I have washed it on gently cycle and it held up well. I did not wash the jacket (it says to spot clean only).

I was pleasantly surprised that the cute little hat, the umbrella cover AND all the clothes were included. Fit my tall thin 10 year old very well, but there was enough stretch in the material where it would fit a smaller or larger kiddo. She got TONS of compliments are looked extra adorable, if I do say so myself. :)

This is adorable, and it has nice details like the parrot umbrella handle and hat flowers that you can arrange yourself. It is a great costume if it gets chilly on Halloween since your kids can layer up! Great quality and appearance for the price.

Look & fit was excellent, pretty true to size. A little big in the waist of the skirt but nothing a few stitches didn't fix. Roomy enough to wear a warm base layer underneath.
