Exactly what I needed to hang a beautiful rug my husband brought back from peru. The rug is heavy and these clips did the job. I took my time to get the clips on the thick Llama wool. Perfect!

I was surprised at the quality and gauge of the metal in these clips. They have a good grip.

I finally got to hang my Persian carpet on the wall. The clips does the job. It doesn't come with screws and anchors which are needed for these to be installed. But the clips does the job.

I used these to hang a fairly heavy tapestry rug on a wall. The tapestry is 5 feet tall by 7 feet wide and about 1/2 inch thick. Spaced about 15" apart, these clips hold it just fine. The clips are made to hook over a 1" square bar. I used the hole instead to screw them into overhead wood. At first I thought they might not open wide enough for this thick of a rug, but with a little coaxing (and a couple of them I pried open slightly) they went right on. They can also be slid onto the rug from one end. These are the same clips they use at our local carpet store for displays. I tried to buy some there but they didn't have them for sale so I looked at them closely and found the same thing here on Amazon.

Easy to install, delivery was fast and size is adequate for hanging rug on wall. Very please. Will update review in 6 months

They worked a large 8 by 10 rug put on the wall heavy by the way but it looks great my wife likes it that's all that matters to me it's been up for five or six days so far
