Exceptionally beautiful. The color is gorgeous. We actually ordered this size and the large. We kept the large. We got the ribbon plaque and it’s perfect.

Initially, I thought the urn looked a little rough - cracked glass was used, the color was spotty and variable between pieces when looked at up close (a bit like an old mirror whose silver backing is chipping away), and there were some pieces that were out of place. But I found it grew on me quickly. It is an interesting and individualistic piece, and the imperfections give this handmade piece character.The urn can look somewhat different depending on the light. It is best in a location that doesn't get direct sunlight if you want the colors to show best. Having said that, I was surprised when I placed it in a spot where the sun hit it. The glass reflected on its surroundings and created diamond-shaped sparks of color that shown all over the room! No one else has commented about this, I think - but it is a startling and beautiful effect worthy of mention.If you want a "perfect" looking urn, buy one of the many polished, mass-produced urns out there; but if you want an art piece that you will treasure, get this one. It's an urn. It contains the ashes of a loved one. And it will make you smile anyway.

Very nice materials and high quality construction

Very pleased with the urn. I got the large golden colored one with mostly dark purple glass mosiac tiles. I love the handmade touch that adds to its unique look. As far as it scratching, it’s glass! The artistry isn’t by machine, so the irregularities are its charm imo so please handle with care. The lid screws on tightly.I found it to be plenty big enough for the part of my very large dad, we split him, I got about 3 cups. So weird to write about a loved one this way, but my dad passed 7 years ago and I finally got around to it. I got one of those teddy bear urns at first but they hold just a tiny amount. I miss him so much. He was a very unique person, so I was drawn to this one and find it suits him as well as me and my decor ;-)It came with a velveteen pouch and a white fabric pouch which I wondered the purpose of. I used it for the ashes. Now this is why I leave off a star, I reached out to company to ask and never got a reply and more troubling is that the Amazon link leads to the manufacturer sellers company, but their website tells you they only offer support if you buy through them. Now I don’t have a problem, just a question, but I think that’s NOT so great customer service. Knowing that Amazon has excellent customer service I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you like this style.
