Great reference for Corporate Style talent management
Used this book for MBA course at a major research university. The information in it strongly matches the techniques used by successful corporations.The biggest divergence from what is advocated in the book vs. high-quality talent management programs is where the book advocates avoiding self-assessments. It argues that self-assessments are generally the least accurate representations of performance, however, I argue that they have many other benefits such as creating a discussion rather than simple feedback, allow self-reflection for the associate and level set beliefs on performance.

Great Talent Management book
It is a great read and the best talent management book out there. Mostly, it consists of many stories that are all placed in one book.

As a masters student in Management, I have picked up many books to expand upon what I'm learning in my classroom studies. This book has exceeded my expectations. The topics discussed are all top notch and well developed. Well worth the money.

Loved it
I got this book to expand my knowledge in talent management and sure it did without having any previous experience in talent management or human resource. All what I have is a bachelor degree in human resource but I found this book easy to understand and a learning guide.
