350z/G35 owners read!
The ball joints work just fine. Nice and tight. Some advice for those replacing them for 350z/G35. The standard ball joint installation/removal kit will NOT work to remove the ball joint. You would have to have a 2.3" ID/2.5"OD or metric equivalent receiving tube for it to work. I looked everywhere, and couldn't find one even close. What will work is heat and BFH. Lock the piece securely in a vice. You will need a steel rod about 1/2" to 5/8" diameter about 3 to 10 inches long. A torch.( Propane is fine) And your BFH. Heat the aluminum around the ball joint. Avoid heating the ball joint itself. Get it nice and hot. To the point where you are petrified to touch it. Then grab your steel rod, place it on the bottom of your joint and start smacking the Sh#& out of it! It should break free. If not, its not hot enough. Once removed, installation is much easier. The standard ball joint kit will work for installation. But you will have to remove the rubber boot. Just use a small flat head driver and pry up on the boot where it meets the flat of the joint. Install joint, reinstall boot. GOOD LUCK!

Works well.
The rubber sock for the ball joint is a little large for the fit and seems to be damaged when installed, but it holds up well to wear.

I would recommend these boots but keep these things in mind when ...
These ball joints are solid but be weary. They sent me the kit with different nuts than pictured without contacting me first. I couldn't get the cotter pin through the hole with the provided nuts. If you buy a ball joint press kit, remove the boot first. I tried doing it with the boot on and it ripped it so I bought replacement boots Energy Suspension 9.13130R which fit perfectly! Also the snap rings they sent don't work well either, I had to use the old oem ones.. I would recommend these boots but keep these things in mind when considering buying this kit

Great ball joints except for the snap ring and the rubber boot extends too far on the metal lip.
The ball joint overall is great. The shipping was very fast. It came in 3-4 days earlier than expected. I installed mine on a 2004 G35 coupe. The design is a little different from the OEM ball joint. The rubber extends all the way out on the metal lip. I believe this is a flaw in the design because when you are pressing them in using a ball joint press sleeve, the sleeve will inevitably crush the rubber on the lip. Now I don't know if this will actually cause any damage in the future but for now the rubber around the lip is messed up.Another issue I had with these are the snap ring was too stiff that when I used my snap ring pliers to spread the snap ring out to put it on, the snap ring would twist. I eventually just used the old snap ring which worked fine but I would have preferred to use the new one if it would stop twisting. Also be aware that this does not come with the ball joint shim. You can reuse the old one though if it's not messed up.

Only got one ball joint, not two.
Not sure of quality yet, but I was only sent one ball joint so things aren’t off to a good start.Maybe my second order will come with two.
