Is the whole thing easy to take apart and clean, by hand... or sponge or brush? (no dishwasher)

I have a brush which I use to clean the chopper. Easy to take apart, it has saved me so much labor that I bought another one to have on hand. Great purchase!

How to dry inside the lid? Or instead, how do you wash the lid without getting water inside?

Hello, dear, Turn the pull line down in the direction where the hole is, then pull the pull line and the water will come out of the hole. Washing tips: 1, Do not leave the lid completely submerged in water or wash it in the dishwasher. 2, Clean the lid under running water, with the pull line facing up and out of contact with the water. Can you buy extra blades?

Can water get trapped in the lid of the 1.8L, hand crank model when washing? This has led to mold problems with previous purchases.

Not really sure but I would assume it will, I have been very careful to NOT submerge the lid part just because of that fear myself.....and my model is the .5L model
