Staedtler Graphite 779 0.7mm Mechanical Pencil - color variations (Black/Blue) with 1 Pack lead

Excellent pencil. This is the first pencil for me from Staedtler company. Its not like the pencil we buy for Rs. 20 or 50; writing is buttery smooth and pencil is nice and rugged. Although it weighs like a fountain pen,actually the weight helps writing in a long term. I bought this pencil primarily for writing and it serves the purpose. If you want a high quality item,this is for you.I bought it for around 400rs. The color mentioned is blue/black in listing but I got maroon color. I googled and found that this is an original product (bar code is there on pencil) and model number is mentioned in the photo I uploaded.

Pencil writes amazing. Lead supplied with it writes butter smooth. I use it for technical drawing and it does a great job. Is also really good for writing notes.One slight putdown can be the price, but i would say it's worth it

A top notch quality product as you would expect from Staedtler. Feels smooth to write/draw with. The mechanical action feels tactile and robust.I'm not an architect or artist, just an engineering student and so this more than fulfills it's purpose for me. Can't ask for more.Only reason I won't give it 5 stars is because it's a little too expensive. Make no mistake though, it's a premium product and you get what you paid for. However, if you just need a mechanical pencil for general purposes, more economical options might suffice.

Comfortable grip

Bought it for my husband who is into pencil sketching. He loved the smoothness of the lead and the grip of it. He was using another mechanical pencil for his sketches which he said was rougher compared to this. This gave a smoother finish to the lines and were easy to smudge and blend. Good product and would recommend anyone who was looking for a decent pencil for affordable price.

The product was great. Although the color you get is maroon. The packaging was a bit sketchy with one flat layer of bubble wrap surrounding it. However there was no damage in the leads packed in the lead box and the mechanical pencil itself. I suggest to go for it.

The pencil broke - image attached. The metal parts began rusting. Apparently -- FAKE GOODS.All that in less than 1.5 years.The very idea of quality product shattered pathetically.Buyers Beware!!!!

A bit too expensive and not offering any major difference if we compare it with similar pencils of indian makers.!!
