in Hawaii, we call this Okinawan Sweet Potato. And it's grown year round.

is this sweet potato soak in bud nip?

I do not believe it is. It is just a strain of sweet potato. I had it in a mashed dish made with cocoanut milk and it was AMAZING.

This is not ube, this is an Okinawa sweet potato. Ube is in the true yam family and is confused with Okinawa sweet potatoes.

I bought one at the coop today to try, but even the peel was purple. Are these a different variety? thanks
