The packaging was good enough.Brand: Yes, Motul is one of renowned quality oil producers in the automotive industry so no doubt in quality of their products.Got the rear diff oil changed, BMW takes about 1L of oil in.Result: Oh boy!! There is such a significant of a difference. Refined performace, smooth response. Super value for money hende I am happy with it.German car owners. By all means, go ahead with this for your diff oil replacement.Thank you.

On time delivery, price could be reasonable
Received item on time, yet to use as waiting for other oils to come. Motul is good product, but I think high priced as I paid around 500 rupees for one liter of gear oil n I bought 2 cans. My bro suggested this for car. I'm sure is good

Not for front wheel drive cars. Expensive does not mean better product, you can get compatible product for Rs 300
I used this oil in my Honda and although it felt good initially, shifting became tight after 2 weeks. Being a 75w90 oil, this oil is meant for both gearbox and rear differential, which means it is both GL4 and GL5 compatible. The way it does that is by adding slightly less sulfur/potassium additive and achieve a middle ground. In order words, for FWD transmissions (GL4) it has higher limit sulfur and for rear differentials (GL5) it has lower limit sulfur. The harsh smell of sulfur in this oil is a proof! Usually, the recommended oil in the owners manual for front wheel drive cars is 75w85 GL4. I had to replace this oil with 75w85 GL-4 which is specifically preferred for Japanese fwd cars, things have now improved, being a thinner oil it will give you slightly better mileage and car will also feel lighter. (fyi 80w90 is heaviest, then comes 75w90 and then 75w85 is lightest and GL4 compatible, GL5 can damage your transmission, use only when required).Another point is that this oil is too expensive when you can get good1L oil within Rs 300.
