Q: Where can I get a true brass 6" wire wheel, not a brass-coated steel wire wheel? Someone must make such an item. Thanks.

You can get smaller diameter 2" or 3" solid brass wheels that are used in hand-held drills. All 6" wheels for a bench grinder are typically brass coated steel wires due to the length of the wires. Solid brass wires are not very durable and break easily, so the solid brass wires on a 6" wheel would hold up very well.
