No it's not real wood. It's heavy duty press board. When put together it lools like real wood.

Not all the shelves are adjustable. You should be able to fit your scrapbooks on at least 3 of the shelves.

What color is Jamocha Wood?

I ordered this product before and it's like dark brown. Its very nice color.

What is it made out of? Is it wood or particle board?

Particle board is the backing. The shelves and frame appear to be wood but don't quote me because I didn't research the material, just needed it to display some nick nacks.
