Q: will it resist fading in the sun and rain if used for a garden stake marker?

I used the marker on a pvc run that is exposed to the elements. It holds up to the rain.UV will degrade it gradually. I check the pipes once a year. The markings were %70 readable after 365 days. I would suggest reapplying every 6 months for best results.

Q: Concerning the prices as indicated; why would i spend $3.49 for a (4 pack), & $21.99 for a (8 pack)??? would not two (4) packs be a much better deal?

The prices are offered by different sellers. Yes two 4 packs would be a much better deal.

Q: is this marker or china wax markers better for marking on ceramic tile?

Have not tried on ceramic tile but the china wax markers do better on metal.
