Definitely better then the current version of the AirPod maxs (I have both) light weight, comfortable, nice case, great sound and noise cancellation.

I had a very minor issue with the headphones. The seller was really amazing. They solved the issue with 24hrs. Besides a great selling experience, the headphones are top notch.

Excellent noise cancellation and battery life, comfortable, light weight, folds to a smaller size than comparable headphones with a smaller case.Audio quality is tip top, the Sony app makes it easy to adjust settings and the accompanying cable allows for a separate DAC/Amp to be used if desired.The magnetic catch on the case is a lot easier to use than a zipper case.I own the XM5’s and have always appreciated their audio quality and comfort. I bought the XM6’s for my son who said he’s never heard better wireless headphones.You have to step up quite a bit in headphone gear to get a big improvement over the XM6’s.I’m an audio gear head and I own an xDuoo TA-20 plus hybrid tube headphone with hand matched Ray tubes and a Neve RNHP solid state amp.When those amps are paired with Focal Celestee or Dan Clark Audio Noire 2 closed back wired headphones, they do sound better with more detail, wider soundstage, and definition than the Sony XM6’s.BUT, those ala carte wired headphone setups cost 3-4 times what the XM6’s cost.My son is very happy with his first pair of “high end” wireless Sony XM6 headphones.The attached photo shows my headphone amp stack and my personal old model but still impressive Sony XM5’s on top.
