Okay, have been using this cover/case daily for over a month now - and it is kind of wonderful. It's very comfortable on my lap, the outside is very attractive and wearing well, the interior is soft and won't scratch, there is enough extra material on the edges that the laptop would be offered some protection if it fell when closed, and it is very quick and easy to close it up. The cut-outs are in the correct areas, and the lid is held firmly in place - as shown in the description pictures, the closure flap should be folded up under the laptop (I pull my computer forward so only about an half an inch of the folded flap shows), and the little underneath flap folded back too, that way ventilation is provided, and I've felt no heat build-up at all, even after heavy use. The only criticism I'd have is that the little inside flap opened would cover much of the the exhaust vent on this particular Dell laptop if I didn't pull it forward...

Well made and sharp. But didnt fit. Check modles No.'s Twice... It's clearly listed as "Doesn't fit #'s.....". I didnt look well enough ..My fault completely. . It'll fit my sons dell so no loss..

The computer sleeve arrived on time and excellent condition. Since I have always been clumsy my laptop(s) has been dropped more than once. I wasn't looking for an extremely padded case But more of daily light weight tablet like cover. This is it. I love the coverage it gives. The design is so nice also. If I could add one thing it would be some type of strap to secure the keyboard part of the laptop.

Poor design, which doesn't leave an opening for venting and as a result, the laptop heats up rather quickly. The craftsmanship is also bad that, for example, one thread extends from the edge of the inner cover to the edge of the outer cover, which may cause the entire stitches to loose in the future when it breaks (off).

I like this cover! I love the galaxy look it fits great and gets the job done.

The design is nice, that’s about it. The case only attaches to the top of the laptop, leaving the entire bottom half flopping around. It doesn’t offer any actual protection to the laptop itself, I’m positive if it fell it would still be damaged. The only thing it might protect it from is scratches on the outside. Also, the bottom flap gets pretty annoying when you’re actually using it. I have to tuck it under the laptop in order to type.

This cover fits perfectly and is nicely lined to protect the laptop from scratches.

First fits my 5559 perfect, except for the little rubber bands, not much space for them to grab onto. Wish the magnets that held the flap closed were stronger or more of them. There is a little ledge on the bottom inside, between flipping that back and folding the flap inside under the keyboard; I've had no overheating issues. I expected that to be a big issue. You do need to remember to close that ledge, before trying to close the laptop. With the flap put under the keyboard the case sticks out front about an inch. It feels sturdy, not cheap cardboard. The inside has a moleskin type feel. In the black case I purchased the inside is beige and is a bit annoying for me around the screen. It does add a bit of weight, and thickness. I've used this a week, it gets a lot of picking up, moving, closing, carrying and there are no marks, dents, or scratches even from my nails. I purchased this because broke the tiny bit of original case under a USB port and it was starting to break at other small joint areas. Would I recommend this, yes.
