My husband was using a TIGI product that he loved. For some reason, they changed the formula. I saw this "clay" and decided to see if it would work for him.The product is a whitish clay - just dip your fingers in and get a SMALL amount. Rub between your palms to activate and run it through DRY hair. Works absolute wonders - better than the TIGI product. Hair in place, not greasy, not shiny, and no overpowering smell. He said it washed out easily.Now, I have to say this about it from the wife's perspective. I'll often rub his head/run my fingers through his hair if he's lying on the couch with his head in my lap. This stuff does feel slightly tacky to the touch. So - if you have a habit of running your hands through your hair? This product might not be for you. You'll end up looking like a cockatoo and have sticky-ish hands.Price point is a little shocking. Works phenomenally according to the other half, so sometimes you just know when to buy something rather than haggle around because of a few dollars, especially when it will last a long time.

Holds well, not greasy, no strong smell, and it doesn’t flake. Only knock is it can feel a bit tacky if you run your hands through your hair. Also, the price is a bit steep, but it works.

I just started trying out different hair clays. So far, Forte's hair clay has worked rather well. The hold is just strong enough to hold a style for an evening out. It doesn't feel heavy when applied, though the hair does feel a little gummy/dirty.... so you'll definitely want to wash it out sooner than later. It comes out easily in the shower. when applied the clay disappears into my dark hair, so no worries about streaks of grey or white product.

Scent:This styling clay doesn't carry much of a scent and is rather neutral where you don't smell much of a fragrance from it.Ease of application:Applying it is very simple, as you get a little on your hand and you gently apply it throughout your hair.Look:With correct application, you don't notice that the clay is there. However, if you hands are wet, I no notice the clay clumping a little bit on your hands. Functionality:It does a good job of holding and styling my hair throughout the day.

A light hold pomade with a creamy texture. My husband uses it for work, but prefers a heavier product with more hold. Only lasts a few hours before his hair starts to lose its shape again. Might work better for men with finer hair.

The hair clay gave my fine, thin hair a matter, full look and I am pleased with the product quality. After leaving it on for a whole day, the clay had high washability and durability to stand the hours of a work day. Application is easy and simple, and comes off with a simple water wash. I am pleased with the functionality of this.

This is the real deal. You just dab a little onto your hands, rub it against your palms to activate, and then work it through your hair and style. It doesn't leave a greasy or overly sticky residue nor does it give your hair extra sheen which I like. The price seems a bit high to me but hey, it works. The only thing I did not like about this is that it took weeks to get delivered. I hope by the time you order this, the item is on prime and can be delivered much quicker.

Very strong hold and pleasant scent. Easy to wipe off your hands and wash from your hair. You must rub it in your hands to activate it so very easy application. Functions well as an edge control or for manipulation of short hair. I would say this holds up against the axe molding clay and is worth the price you'd pay.
