These are expensive but you get what you pay for. Very realistic and can add an extra dimension to any themed game. I have 3 or 4 pirate themed board games that came with cardboard or plastic coins. We use these instead and everyone loves them. Worth the investment.

I purchased the 102 piece mixed coins to go GeoCashing with my family. We could use just any random piece of junk but this is a way of not only having fun but doing it with class. At 30¢ per coin its cheap and a way of rewarding each "hidden urban treasure box" with a fun reward for others.... I use gold for the hard to find cashes, silver for moderate difficulty, and bronze for the super easy ones. And if the GeoCash box gets moisture inside these coins wont be damaged.When I recived the coins I was shorted some and I contacted the seller right away and they corrected it with no trouble. They responded within the hour of me emailing them.Coins are solid and well crafted to look real. They have decent weight and sound real. and I love the bag it comes in. As I said, they are great for GeoCashing. But they are also great for cosplayers, pirate b-day parties, board and card games, and whatever else you can think of. You wont be disapointed.

I got these for use with assorted board games. I like the quality, the three denomination types, and my color blind players will appreciate size and hue differences.I looked at a lot of metal options, and the 102 pack here was great deal for quality.Personally i adore the copy of a historical coin style. I grew up in Miami, and South Florida is full of souvineer coins from shipwrecks, etc. I always wanted to make a set of these, and now I could affordable do so!They are thinner than expected, but very sturdy. And the included pouch is much nicer than expected.Needless to say, I want more. I can never have enough of these.

Coins look good. They are heavy seem durable. Comes with a little coin bag. Plastic packaging for the coins was flimsy and fell apart in shipping. The coins were fine.

The media could not be loaded. I planned a surprise Pirate Poker Date Night for my husband for our anniversary of our 1st date. These coins are FABULOUS for this idea! They are heavy, shiny, and feels like real treasure! I created a treasure hunt to find the coins and a couple of small treasure chests. Then we spent hours playing Poker to try and will each other's coins. So much fun!
