Nice performance, portability and set-up
The media could not be loaded. I'm a whitewater kayaker and I bought this duckie to enable my girlfriend to join me on class II/III whitewater without having to be a skilled paddler herself. Having gotten it out on the river once so far, I'm happy with the purchase. The backpack style carrying bag was relatively convenient. There is plenty of room in the bag so you don't have to get crazy trying to fold the boat back up to repack it. The provided manual air pump requires a little bit of exercise, but it fills the air chambers pretty quickly. I'd estimate I had all three chambers inflated within 15 minutes. The only thing that slowed me down was my unfamiliarity with the valves in the boat. Several times I tried removing the air hose only to find that the valve was still open and all the air that I'd just put in was rushing out. I believe this is user error rather than a problem with the valves, and that I'll get better at removing the air hose properly with time. When done correctly, the valve is closed when the air hose comes off and no air leaks out.(I also had a small issue with the air gauge that was originally provided not registering any reading. I contacted the seller and they quickly and easily provided a replacement gauge which works correctly.)The seat backs, once installed, are sturdy and comfortable. I definitely recommend experimenting with the positioning a couple times to figure out what works best for you. In particular, you want to be sure the seats are positioned so that the boat is balanced, but that the person in the rear is sitting far enough back that they don't have to worry about smacking the person in front in the head with their paddle. (I'm 6'1" and have long arms, so I had to watch out for this.)The boat tracks pretty well even without the skeg installed. We took it out on some mild class II whitewater and found that it ferried well and punched medium sized holes without issue. We bumped a few rocks (not overly hard) and didn't notice any damage or scuffing to the boat material. One minor design flaw I noted was that the drain plugs, even when unscrewed and open, have a tendency to flip themselves back closed again because of the plastic connector keeping the plugs attached. When that happened, of course water wasn't draining as quickly as it should have and that affected boat performance. My field solution was to tuck the caps underneath the center air chamber that we were sitting on. This worked reasonably well, but we needed to keep an eye on them.Deflating the boat went even faster than inflating it... I'd say maybe 5 minutes. We had, of course, sprayed it down with a hose to try to wash away as much sand and river water as possible before deflating. Once dry and deflated, packing the boat back into it's bag was relatively easy as well.Overall, I think it's a great boat. The only remaining issue is durability, but only time will tell on that point. So far so good.

Incredible quality!!
I took a chance on this Azura model since its fairly new and I couldn't find many reviews online.. so hopefully this helps other potential buyers! First impressions.. wow.. the quality and craftsmanship is very high quality. I have personally used several models of inflatable kayaks but nothing of this quality at this price point. The drop stitch floor is very solid and was quick to inflate, the sides were also quick and covered in a very high quality puncture resistant material. I want to point out to other's.. even though it was not listed anywhere in the description, it does include a velcro foot rest.. AND INSIDE STORAGE POCKETS! Absolutely perfect for quick access to your phone and other small items within reach! I wish they would have listed that in the description I would have bought this way sooner. All included parts are very high quality.. Id just be cautious with the attachable fin until youre ready to put it in the water.. and the seat is probably the nicest kayak seat I've ever seen, let alone in an inflatable! Even has quick access paddle holders on both sides, heavy duty grab handles all around, solid metal D rings.. and I even noticed a drain plug in the floor near the back in case you do take on some water. Very well thought out design.. I will update asap when I can get it into the water.. but after having recently tried a few other models, I am confident this will perform great in the water. Its a nimble 9' length but still has plenty of room for someone over 6' tall thanks to the open cockpit design and storage space in the back and footwell areas. Overall very impressed. Its light enough to carry in the included bag, although a backpack design would have been nice. Highly recommend!

Kayak and customer service is great, associated items less so
I've had the kayak in the waters off Kona three times now and I have to say it is wonderful. Handles well in both 3' rollers and flat water. Turns on a dime, it's a breeze to both move the prow and keep a straight line with regular side changes while paddling. I've scraped a rock or two with out any damage, the seats are comfortable and adjustable, and inflating is a five minute pumping job.Stable enough to easily re-enter after snorkeling or diving, light enough to be carried by a single person of moderate upper body strength, and easy to store all in all I love the kayak itself. It has enough room for two, with a snorkel bag or one with dive gear. I am a little worried about the longevity of the valves as the springs in them seem a bit cheap but we'll see how it goes. But the associated items are, often, of poor quality. The pump is cheaply built, important parts (like the PSI gauge) are easy to lose, and, in fact, said PSI gauge shipped to me broken in the box. The needle was on the negative side of the zero peg making it impossible for the needle to rise with pressure. I've been using the feel test as I inflate it.And, for all that folk will tell you that everything will fit in the bag that's only true if you pack it carefully. Furthermore one zipper on the bag broke the first time I used it and the second one broke the second time I used it. Given how important the pump is, and how nice the bag could be, I'm surprised to see so little thought and engineering put into these two components of the package. However, I contacted Driftsun and they say they have shipped me a replacement pressure gauge so give them credit for good customer service. And, as I say, I love the kayak itself. I'd give it five stars but for the associated components.
