Taliah Waajid Black Earth Protective Mist Bodifier, 8 Ounce

I stumbled upon this products over a year ago and I must admit, it has become a staple in my hair care routine and for my kids. My children’s have dreadlocks and this thing helps keep their hair moisturized, soft and it smells really good. It give a natural shine on hair and I also use it on my human hair and it makes it look lustrous . It is very light weight and an excellent product overall. It is a bit pricey but I don’t mind it because the benefits on hair are enormous. A little bottle goes a long way.

I spray my hair locks each day. My locs feel soft and smell good and clean between wash. It’s a great daily moisturizer. It is not greasy. It’s great for itchy scalp too. It is made specifically for Black and Hispanic women hair. I love it. It’s worth the money and your hair will love you too!!

I bought this product for my daughter who is almost 2, she has 3b/3c hair, it gets really dry and tangled on the back of her head and the only product that seemed to help before I discovered this stuff was the Garnier Fructis products for curly hair but I didn't like all of the chemicals that they use in their products and I didn't think it was formulated for her specific hairtype, I mean, to stop breakage and whatnot. So, I shopped around forever trying to find a product that seemed to be what we needed but at an affordable price. I initially ordered this product in the 8oz size and now that I know it is perfect for her hair type I went ahead and ordered the 32 oz size since it is cheaper that way, it does say that once it is opened it has a shelf life of 12 months but we go through this stuff so quickly that I am sure we will have no problem using it all up within a year. I use this product as a detangler/leave in conditioner, it has the best results when her hair has been just washed but even if I don't wash it I still get good results....I was just spraying it on her dry hair which works just fine but now I get her hair slightly damp first to make the product go further. It has a faint, pleasant smell, it is not greasy whatsoever which I find to be a very important qaulity. It does not dry crunchy. It enhances her curls, adds shine (not greasy shine, just natural shiny hair) and the curls dry fairly quickly and softly. I just spray it all over her hair, rub it in with my hands, take a wide tooth comb and detangle, then use my fingers to style her hair, then let it dry....I use this product in conjunction with the Cantu for Natural Hair moisturizing Curl Activator cream.....the mist bodifier works great by itself and even better with the Cantu....hope they don't ever stop carrying these products because I absolutely love them and they are as natural as you can get for the price!!!

I bought this product for the body aspect. I have very long, fine, limp hair. I get highlights done every 12 weeks, and as a result my hair gets really dry at the ends. But of course I have an oily scalp, so too much moisture makes my thin hair look lank and lifeless. I tried this for the first time today. I started with damp hair (I let it air dry to cut down on damage)and did 5 spritzes into my palm. I then worked the product into my hands and into my hair; from about 3" from the roots to the tips. My hair is mostly straigh, with a little natural wave, so I use a flat iron to straighten my hair once it is dry. Today I noticed that my hair was very soft and shiny after using the flat iron, and it was much more managable. It also looked and felt thicker. And because the extra moisture wasn't added to my scalp, I didn't have oily roots at day's end. I would highly recommend.

Cons: I ordered 4 bottles, they were each individually wrapped in plastic, each arrived swimming in the product. Some had even spilled out of the plastic wrapping and inside the box was wet. So about 1/4 the product from each bottle was wasted. The spray nozzle isn't the bestPros:I really like this for 4c hair, it smells great, keeps my hair moisturized for a few days. Moisturizes with extensions in also.
