Low carb and quick meal
It comes in these 3.53 oz packs, 12 in a box, I ordered it for portion control. Each pack has the rice sitting in a bit of liquid, so you’ve got to drain it before cooking. It’s easy to prepare, I usually rinse it, then toss it into boiling water for a couple of minutes to heat through. The texture ok, slightly chewy, not mushy, and it doesn’t have that weird taste I was worried about, but smells not that perfect. It’s literally flavorless on its own, it soaks up whatever sauce or seasoning I pair it with. I’ve mixed it with egg and soy sauce for a quick fried rice vibe, and it held up well, tasting like the dish I was going for. Now, the pros: it’s gluten-free, vegan, and super low-carb, since I’m watching my carbs. It’s also fat free, so it fits into my meal planning when I’m trying to keep things light. I feel full right after eating, especially if I load it up with veggies and protein. But here’s the flip side. While it’s filling at first, that full feeling doesn’t stick around long. Like, three hours later, I’m rummaging through the fridge again, which isn’t ideal if you’re using it as a meal replacement. Also, when I ordered, the listing said it’d be half noodles, half rice, but I got all rice.

Not a Replacement for Traditional Noodles but Great Filler for Cuts
These take some getting used to if you’ve never had konjac before. Slight smell when you first open the pack (just rinse well with hot water). Once cooked though, the smell goes away and it absorbs flavors well (by itself, it doesn’t really have a flavor). Good substitute for noodles when you’re cutting carbs/calories but of course not an actual replacement. The texture is like a firm jelly, so it’s not anything like traditional flour pasta or rice noodles. I like it in soups like hot pot. It also is a good source of fiber!

A great option for dieters, but not the best konjac product I've tried
I've been on a diet where I semi-fast every other day, so I get a very low calorie allotment on my "fasting" days and am always looking for filling foods that satisfy my urge to eat without bumping up my calorie intake!Konjac noodles have proven to be an excellent, low-cal, vegetarian-friendly option, so I decided to give the MOKI konjac noodles / rice a try. These come in around the same size pouches at a similar price point to comparable products I regularly buy. They are a little more caloric at 15 Kcals a pack vs. 6-10 like others I've eaten. Still, that's crazy low! I appreciate the simple, vegan ingredients and the fact that these come in two different shapes so you can enjoy a wider variety of dishes with them.Taste and texture-wise, these were exactly as expected. Bear in mind they won't taste or feel like regular noodles or rice: they're a bit toothier, more like rice noodles than pasta or ramen. That doesn't bother me at all. They really don't have much of any taste. Again, that's fine by me: regular rice and noodles are mostly just a carrier for the sauce or seasoning, but the normal kind costs you WAY more calories! These fill your belly and act as a base for your flavoring agents guilt-free. It lets me spend more of my calories on tasty things like olive oil, cheese, and protein vs. carbs... yum!The only reason I knocked these down a star is that the "rice" shape really isn't remotely rice-like, whereas other products I've tried have more successfully imitated rice. These are much larger and rounder. If they were marketed as a "pearl cous cous" substitute, I'd rate 5 stars! I probably could not distinguish them from pearl cous cous in a blind taste test (assuming both were equally seasoned). They'd be great in a cous cous dish! However, you'll definitely notice the difference if you're trying to cook, for example, fried rice or a burrito.Overall, these are still a great option for anyone looking to cut calories but still fill their belly. They aren't the best of the konjac products I've tried, but they still do the trick... just don't expect anything remotely rice-like!

Tapioca texture
I've used the noodles before and they are good. The rice though is like pouring tapioca in your dish. It's not got any flavor which is ok, but the texture is something that doesn't go well with dishes that should have rice.

Texture can be off-putting
I ordered this looking for a way to cut carbs and still have that sensation of eating rice, and it just isn't quite there for me. I think it's really the texture that is just a little bit too gummy/squishy. Another reviewer compared it to tapioca, and I think that is spot on.

One of the nicer rice noodles I've tried
Hello friends, I selected this set of 12 konjac rice-shaped miracle noodles for low carb eating. These noodles came divided into 12 separate packs with easy to open sides. There wasn't a lot of liquid. It was mostly the noodle in each package which I appreciated. The noodles were like chubby little nubs. Not quite shaped like rice but when placed together look kind of like sticky rice. I drained out the liquid which had a very faint fishy smell. For the most part they were scentless but you could detect it if you've got the nose for it. I poured the noodles into a microwave safe bowl and added a little chicken bouillon. I mixed it up and put it in the microwave for one minute. Then I poured it into a serving bowl and added Curry. It doesn't absorb moisture so I knew it was just there for the sake of texture. It tastes really nice with the curry. I thought it was decent. I've had other rice shaped noodle before and this is one of the better ones. I think it's because as much as you would like for your noodles to be as small as rice, you actually want something in your mouth you know you're chewing on.
