Great flavor , but looses flavor quickly! Doesn’t firm up, but stays ‘gummy’ after chewing for a while

I love chewing gum as I feel it keep me awake and engaged, but I've never tried these 1 inch RED Gumballs from Candy Envy so this was my first taste and I would say that they are decent, but not great. The bag is not resealable, so these are best used in a dispenser or for baked goods decorations. Otherwise you'll need to store in a container or sealable bag. The consistency tastes pretty fresh as they are soft to bite into and no staleness that I can tell. As for flavor, this is where a bit of inconsistency is note. My first gumball was sweet and fruity, but the next one I had not 10 minutes later was very different. It tasted almost like peppermint on the initial bite and then a very strong red icing flavor like red cake frosting and red sprinkles. My husband agrees - the flavor is not the same across the bag.So overall, I think these are best for generic gumball dispensers for the non-discerning kid or cake decorating as they are visually attractive with the bright red color; however they are just not as good as name brand gumballs like Dubble Bubble. The flavor just isn't as fruity or consistent, even though the texture of the gumballs is very fresh with no staleness whatsoever. The caveat is that it will be hard to keep them fresh if you don't use in one shot as the bag isn't resealable. It's cheaper than Dubble Bubble, but I can taste why.

These red gumballs were nice and big and looked good in my candy bar. They were soft to bite into and tasted fresh though I'm not sure the flavor was consistent throughout the bag I got. Once in a while I would get one that didn't taste like all the others (kind of bitter). I don't feel it holds it's flavor very long but seems to be pretty common in this type of gum. Overall I'm okay with my purchase but would probably try a different brand the next time.

To me, these taste like typical gumballs. There is a slight cherry flavor, but mostly it just tastes like gum to me. The flavor lasts maybe 5-10 minutes maximum, but the gum stays chewable for a long time afterward. Love the bright red color, and my whole family is enjoying the novelty of them.
