Product arrived new in packaging, as listed. As I stated in the headline, I did not purchase it for fishing. So far, it has met my expectations.

The best I got from this wire was 47#.
Tested wire with a digital fish scale.The best I got was 47# when the wire broke. Much less than the advertised 70#.Wish it was 70#. The wire is very subtle. (Not stiff). I will try Berkley wire.
