It’s good for your hair for keeping your hair moisturized.
The Flaxseed jell is really a good product. I use it on my hair and there is no sticky build up and it doesn’t make my hair hard and make my hair unmanageable. It keeps my hair moisturized and easy to comb. I like the product. I would recommend this product.

Smells amazing & provides light hold
The smell is like a coconut vanilla & not overpowering or artificial. The hold this provides reminds me more of a pomade than a gel that dries/gives helmet hair. This is not something I would gravitate towards if you are looking for a hairspray like hold. This is more to tame edges/halo frizz while dry & use for hair styling while wet to maintain a light hold that still allows for movement. I have coarse thick hair that tends to be wavy & curly near the edges/nape of my neck. I have used this as an all over scalp treatment before showers & also daily around my edges. I even tried it in my eyebrows & it didnt irritate me.Four stars vs five because i wish the container were a tube because application can be messy using a jar.

I was impressed
Very good product definitely ordering more I wish they came in larger containers moisture level was great not a strong fragrance not very sticky. I have LOCS this product. Did not leave a nasty residue or film on my hair.

Not for me
I wanted to love this for my 3b hair, especially because I'm trying to go less toxic but don't have the time to make my own flaxseed gel. Unfortunately it didn't work well with my hair. Initially it looks, nice but the curl hold wasn't there. Even after spraying the next morning there was little definition and my hair seemed almost dry, like too much protein.I'm going to stick to my leave in conditioner

Not worth the hassle!
Quality:This product caused an irritation to my scalp. Also made my hair dry and unmanageable. I do not recommend this product.

Clean but not very sticky
Ingredients are free of any cancerous chemicals, or endocrine disruptors as long as you’re not rubbing vitamin C on it. It’s one of the only harmless products in the market, which is why I didn’t give it one star. The gel is not very sticky.
