Looks like a nice piece of jewelry and it’s perfect for the days when my daughter loses her phone privileges but I still want to know where she is!

My wife has severe Alzheimer’s and often wanders from home. This is a pretty necklace for an Air Tag so we can easily fond her. I can track her phone but she often leaves it behind but she always has the necklace. It would also work well for a young girl.

My mother recently developed dementia, she wanders around the house now and I have constant worry she will wander right out of the house into the unknown. I can't lock her in the house because of possible fire, I installed sensers on the doors to alert me if one is opened but if I am not home I can't stop her. So I figured a tracking device on her person so if she does wander off I can find her. I settled on Airtags, I wanted something she would be unlikely to take off, meaning jewelry. Found this, she loved it and wears it constantly now. Important legal note, I asked a lawyer about the legality of tracking someone and in my state, its only illegal if you track them without there permission. I told her about the Airtag so all good.

I purchased the DEERLET Airtag Necklace with high hopes, but after using it for a while, I'm feeling a bit mixed about it. It doesn't feel bulky around the neck, so it’s wearable for long periods, whether for kids or adults.What Could Be Improved:Durability Issues: After using it for a couple of weeks, I’ve noticed some wear and tear on the metal badge. The finish seems to be scratching easily, which is disappointing for something that’s meant to be a long-term solution.Not Water-Resistant Enough: While it’s marketed as water-resistant, I wouldn’t trust it in heavy rain or while swimming. The clasp could also use some improvement as it doesn’t feel very secure at times, which could be an issue for kids who are active.Size Limitations: The necklace is a bit too long for younger children, and even for adults, it can feel a bit too much at times.
