Evolis printer used.
The machine did not work, the technician couldn’t install it on my computer. The door on the ribbon would not close. I was so disappointed. I’ve had a primacy printer for 5 years and I love it. This one was a piece of junk. I was surprised that Amazon shipped it to me. So disappointing ☹️.

REVISED RECOMMENDATION: CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY STRONG AND FIXED PROBLEM FOR ME
My initial recommendation was one star due to problems with dual-sided printing. Customer Service reached out to me to on their own to help out. We were able to resolve the one-sided printing issue and other minor glitches. Jack did an excellent job of getting the problems solved.As before, the printer works well, and prints high-resolution and professional-appearing cards very quickly.The software is simple to use. This is one of the few ID card printers on the market that will work withMac OS software.

Evolis stops working when you can’t return it.
It’s a bad printer. It’s life span is only few months and warranty won’t cover is. Service department won’t honor warranty.

stay away like the plaque.
I bought the printer, but it never worked. I did purchase everything that could be the issue, and still couldn't get it to work. The insurance company wouldn't honor the insurance.

Great Quality
Print Quality is great. It is easy to setup and use. We are using it for summer season passes and it is perfect. Just what we needed.

Buyer beware
the dongle that holds the license fell apart - companies only remedy was to buy a new printer because a five dollar piece of plastic didn't hold up. I'd give zero stars if able. The dongle has to be plugged into the pc in order for the printer to work.

Gets the job done!
The printer itself works great. I've had a bit of trouble with the USB key that came with the product, providing the software needed to print the cards, but was able to troubleshoot with the support team in order to rectify the situation.

Great ID Printer
The Evolis Primacy Dual-Sided ID Care Printer is extremely great! I bought this to replace an old Zebra ID Card Printer and I do not have any regrets. The Bodno Software is MAC COMPATIBLE which makes things so much more seamless. The quality of the prints is great. I haven't tried out the dual-sided printing yet but I expect it to live up to the quality presented so far.
