OK this looks plasticy, but it’s STURDY. The design is a slide-in and ‘lock’ in place setup. It really keeps this upright, firm & holds heavier folders really well.I have zero complaints, it’s a bit more expensive than I would normally spend, by a few pounds, but it’s sturdy, so I think it’s worthwhile to not have toppling folders.
