Summit SUP-068 Premium Multi Fit Roof Bars, Black Steel, Set of 2

Bought these roof bars for my 2015 ford c-max fitted a treat....very happy bargain price...i set the feet up to the measurements the instructions showed and then placed them on the car....then put the brackets on and tighten each side bit by bit until tight....the box contains everything you need to secure the roofbars to the car....i used them for a roofbox and they worked a treat....my only lill negative is a lill wind noise with just the roofbars on the car at about 60 mph....but once i put my roofbox on the wind noise went so very happy.

Don't know whether this is supplier or Amazons fault, but i checked and double checked if this fit my vehicle (fiat tipo), trying to install today, no where near!!! going on holiday on Monday, so pointless returning. F'ing joke!! and typical of Amazon, unclear descriptions on purchase, but when you go back to review the order, provide more information than the orginal purchase page!!! should've gone to Halfords like my gut was telling me. Waste of £75!!!!

Bought these more in hope than expectation but they proved to be very capable ,being sturdy, weather resistant & fitted in minutes, no extra tools required .They were bought as a one time use item...but having used them ,they will get used again .would I recommend them ? I'd never used roof bars before so was wary as these were much cheaper than others I'd seen. I've been really impressed though, as they're sturdy, fairly easy to fit, and fit 65 plate ford c-max perfectly. I think the only downside, and possibly the reason for the price difference between this and others, is that these bars don't have a key lock - it's just an allen/hex key. I'm really happy with my purchase, and I'd definitely recommend.

Fitted together well but didn’t then pick up the mounting holes on the car. However it did the job and we put the cycle racks on ok. Would I but again, not sure

Didn't fit despite description stated it did but would have returned anyway as it's too cheaply made to give me confidence on motorway or anywhere really...

I tested by strapping my 300lb wife to this roof rack and took to the German Autobahn and although not recommended, I can report that nothing came loose at 297kph and if it wasn't for the fact that her clothes had completely disappeared and I had to stop I think we could have reached 310kph with ease.Take your time fitting this and it will reward you with a simple design that works really well and holds a lot better than it looks.
