I have shiny, oily skin, so usually avoid lip glosses like the plague. However, I was desperate to find a decent lip stain that didn't cost £18+, so gave this a go.I bought the shade 'Drippin' in Rose', and it is genuinely fantastic! I am a complete convert and about to order some more colours to try.The gloss is actually lovely, smells nice, not sticky - more like a shiny cream finish, and really moisturising. I am a lip balm addict normally, but haven't used any AT ALL since starting to wear this!If applied liberally and left on for a bit, it happily wears/wipes down to a beautiful and very long lasting stain, that touches up really easily if you have eaten and drunk a lot.The second photo is after several hours of eating and drinking normally, and I don't even think the photo does it justice.

Thick and glossy with a high level of pigmentation (eg easy transfer to teeth if you’re not careful!) - like other people, I was a little confused by the branding “serum” when I thought it was supposed to be a “stain” - so not entirely sure what’s happened there, but indeed, the serum IS also the stain. Apply the gloss as per usual (I felt it was a bit of an unnatural beige colour - hence the four stars) and just leave it. Eventually after quite some time, it goes and then you’re left with a very nice stain which is more pinky. I have very very pale lips so this is just what I need. I think I’m going to order a slightly darker colour (I’m warm/pale skin naturally) but I get the impression all of these stains eventually settle to a pinky tone, so be aware of that.

My new favourite! Does exactly as it says on the tin, the tint lasts ages on the lips but also looks natural not too bright, which I like. Not sticky at all, leaves your lips feeling soft and moisturised. A little goes a long way so I think this will last quite a while :)

Unfortunately the shade I got (cocoa quench) looks really unnaturally orange on my skin :( (I'm pale olive, maybe it's nicer on other tones)However, it doesn't feel too heavy which is nice as I don't like the feel of lipgloss. The stain is actually really pretty but not at all the colour of the gloss, it's more a natural lip colour and the longer it's left on the more pigmented the stain. The stain holds pretty well once on so I think this product is just good for putting on at home in the morning just for the stain and taking off before you leave, but maybe it's prettier in other colours.Overall really sad that this didn't work as I hoped, the gloss colour is just horrible on me.

Really lovely product, leave it on for 5/10 minutes, then wipe off and you will have lovely stained lips all day. Easy to use, none messy, and doesn't dry lip out like other lip stains.

Well, this NYX lipgloss was a complete disappointment. The shade was pretty when worn, but did not stain the lips, as I was led to believe. Not impressed.

I dont usually wear lipstick as struggle finding a shade I like and one that doesn't make my lips feel sticky or dry. This is amazing. I put it on and then do the rest of my makeup before wiping it off. It leaves a good colour stain on the lips and it doesn't transfer, my lips feel moisturised and it stays on non matter how many cups of tea I drink. I have just bought some other colours to try.
