Not worth the price.
Lighting is only good at night time and you get use to the led within a month or so. The hdmi port pretty stupid and won't auto switch port like it supposed to. I usually have my pc on first and sometimes me or someone else would accidentally bump the ps5 controller and turn on the console. It force the hdmi port switch to the Ps5 console and stay on that port only. The app or physical device can't switch back to the PC. Turning off the ps5 doesn't do anything too. Only fix is to turn both pc and ps5 off then turn on the PC again. It only saving grace is that the rgbw react ok with any games. And yet it still mess that up.I use a red square on my desktop to test the rgbw tracing and fine out that the rgbw can only track colors to the correct corner only. When I move the red square to the bottom of my screen. The rgbw glow red on the right side of the TV. Up goes left, right goes down and left goes up. Honestly I could have run everything to my pc and have the PC controller the rgbw and it would of done a better. I can see this going for $200-$300 for a 4 port hdmi. But $500 and it doesn't work as advertised is just a scam.

Really pulls you in!
The media could not be loaded. This is one of my favorite purchases of the year so far 😉. I have fallen down a rabbit hole rewatching animes and movies I have previously viewed. Setup took about 15 minutes and it has worked solidly since with only one hiccup not coming on during a YT video, but working fine for all the other apps. I have my Shield and Xbox connected, and games look better and more immersive. I even have it set to turn on and off with voice control, but I'm tempted to leave it on all the time.

Comparison Fancyleds, Govee, Hue
If you don’t mind having to use an app on your phone everytime you need to switch between devices, then this is an excellent choice!CEC / AUTO SWITCHING HDMIHighly annoying as the device claims to be CEC compatible, they just don’t have it implemented correctly. There are certain things you have to manually program with CEC to make it user friendly; their programmers clearly don’t know about this. If you follow CEC strictly, it kinda sucks for actual usage. For example, most people don’t turn off their apple tv (which with CEC would turn off your tv as well) before turning on the game console. Well strict CEC implementation won’t switch to the game console because the previous input is still sending signal. They need to program it so that regardless of previous input, when it detects a NEW input signal, it switches to that hdmi. Now many hdmi switches will also send a CEC off signal to the previous device, to help with switching back to that device. That part is optional, as it can be annoying for gamers when they accidentally click their apple tv remote while gaming and the console shuts down.Govee also fails to implement CEC, and even worse than Fancyleds. The only brand to make CEC right is Hue Sync Box.GOVEEOverall quality is worse than fancyleds, AND may be more expensive. Worse CEC, worse LED density, worse light reproduction… but maybe better app controls.HUEBest quality in CEC and light reproduction in their new 8k model; but awful pricing and the fact that you have to buy the LED backlight separately, AND power it separately is annoying. I like just plugging the light strip into the sync box like the other two brands. I hate how bulky hue gradient strip is, and also the power plug for the strip AND sync box both just annoy me. I do like a clean install and Hue fails this metric.SUMMARYIf fancyleds would improve their CEC programming beyond just basic specification, they would absolutely dominate the market of hdmi based backlighting. I’ve written them about it, but to date i get idiot replies about how they support cec and i should reboot my devices (facepalm). If their devs read my comments they’ll realize what I mean, it’s a stupid simple adjustment to their firmware!

Great product
Easy to install and works great! Adds a whole new dimension to watching movies.

Getting any input to function is a serious delay and consideration!
The supplied HDMI cable induces a delay with the audio and the only way to use it is with a phone! Also I just spent the last ten minutes trying to turn on my Apple TV 4K! It is super cool and looks amazing but I’m about to return it or give it away! It’s not worth the frustration of simply trying to turn on the TV!! Do not buy this thing until they figure out how to let you turn on the input. And simply let you use the device! I still cannot get it to recognize that the Xbox, Mac Mini, or the Apple TV is even turned on! Serious effort needs to be put into the user experience!

Awesomeness
Easy installation and beautiful led functions. Had to really understand the operations of the synchronization for the Television but after fully understanding the capabilities of the box I was relieved that it worked so well.

Great and affordable sync box
Works great and has accurate sync to the visuals, easy setup and addons are optional. After how good it works im intrested in the neon bar and other sync options. And apears to have less problems than philips hue snyc at a much cheaper price point

Wow! Just wow!
Absolutely love this set up. Attached it to my new 77” LGC5 and it really makes movies more fun to watch with less strain on the eyes. The LED strip does have a little difficulty staying stuck to the back of the TV but I’m pretty sure that’s a tv texture issue more than the lights. Will absolutely be buying another set when we kit out the bonus room.
