Not very user friendly and poorly constructed.

I first bought one on Kickstarter and I am glad to have purchased another on Amazon. I wish there were more expandable luggage options so that I can either use it as a carry on or as a check in luggage. The expanding function is very intuitive by simply pressing the handle button to extend.I’ve used this as a carry on when travelling light overseas, and then will expand when buying souvenirs to bring home. Highly recommend this product!

I followed the instructions exactly. It will not expamd.

Easy foldable suitcase, travel to your business trip light as carry-on to avoid laguage issues and return with full size to pack all gifts.I do want to call out that although it provide good capacity, it is not a 28' suitcase and is still a bit limited in capacity. In addition, as called out in other reviews, the lack of a grip handle is annoying.

This is my first time testing an expandable suit and I bought it because I often want to have room in my travel case for souvenirs or shopping. I brought this with me to Vegas and it was amazing! Light yet sturdy, it was able to accomplish what I needed it to do. It made fitting in all my extra shopping super easy. The quality of the wheels and general case is also great and perfect for a frequent traveler like me.

First, the concept is a good one… three inclusive sizes in one package. Yet, the Amazon and manufacturer description is misleading when it refers to the “bottom hidden handle”. My idea of a “handle” is one in which you can wrap your fingers completely around it and lift the suitcase with that one hand. This “hidden” one is merely an indentation in the bottom of the body and you must still use the expanding handle at the first open setting to lift it with one hand. Therein is the problem. When you use the expanding handle to lift as will be done by the airport handlers, the inner mechanism is not strong enough to handle the weight and you’re left with a handle that does not “lock in” at the four heights, it just slides freely from the top one to the bottom one….. very unwieldy! On a positive note, VELO’s customer service HAS been responsive and promised to make good. Let’s see if they follow through!

(Caveat- I kick-started this)The order came broken and support said that it was my fault that the suitcase arrived like that, so they could not honor the warranty. When clarifying, there has been radio silence for over a year.Still, as a frequent business traveler, it seemed like I could still get benefit from the multi-wize even though the handle would not fully lock.The concept is great for a business trip, where you'll come back with souvenirs for the family. However, after the first two uses, it became clear this was not ideal for business trips, or any trip unless desperate.1. There is only one handle. It's supposed to push in fully flushed against the rest of the suitcase all all size. This leaves you with no handle to pick it up with for overhead stowaway. This problem is even worse when you have it full sized and now you have a heavy bag with no handles to put on a scale etc. even if you manage, anyone handling your suitcase might not leading to even more damage.2. No space in it's smallest size. Basically with all of the mechanics to make this adjustable, at the smallest size which is the only carry on size (medium and large are both checked sizes), it can barely fit anything. I can fit more in a backpack that goes under the seat in front of me.3. The main and only handle has some of the weakest locks and springs in it. Given, mine did come already broken, but it only took one more trip for it to neither fully extend or retract anymore. It's both flimsy and constantly jams.I wish I could have loved this suitcase. It's a beautiful design and great concept. I get compliments when just walking around with it, but I can recommend it, especially if you're a frequent traveler. You'll only end up injuring yourself using it (bruised fingers, back pain, etc)

Bought this and it was defective. Claimed to open to 3 sizes - which it does, but it does not lock at the top, and collapses to a mid size. Despite claiming to have a warranty, the company has not bothered to respond to requests for a replacement and yet, they continue to sell it. Amazon should not allow this company to sell this product. It's prone to breaking, and is a scam. Look at the comments on crowdfunding sites.
