Most heavenly aroma of all! Perfect for jams, jellies and my famous PF syrup.
Amazing quality. The aroma was stronger than any passion fruit puree I've ever used and I've used a LOT. Even Perfect Puree. While this isn't as thick as Perfect Puree it is a third the cost and the flavor is as good. I could no longer justify 30.00 a container and over 100.00 shipping for the frozen puree. When I opened the lid to my cooking pot, while still cold, this puree put out such an incredible aroma that people asked what essential oil I was using. Truly a heady, wonderful smell. I may swoon just thinking about it. The flavor is tart and tangy as you would expected with passion fruit. If you did not realize by now, I am addicted to passion fruit. A PASSION FRUIT JUNKIE. I have never had the ultimate pleasure of eating a fresh passion fruit. But I have purchased many different types of concentrates and purees over the years. My only wish is that this product was of a little a thicker consistency. More like the Napa Valley Puree Company. Ah, well. I use for jams and syrups so I can adjust thickness with pectin. One important thing I learned when boiling down for jams or syrups is that you lose considerable volume. Duh. So when i added two bags of this puree I anticipated it making up two cases of 1/2 pint jelly jars of syrup. Nope. I had boiled it down to 50% which gave me only one case. Much to my pocket book's dismay. So new strategy will be to add 4 to 6 cups of water and then allow the mixture to boil down. Then add the pectin. Or make it faster as I don't want what evaporates to be the juice v. just some water content. But that last batch with the double, boiled down mixture was absolute heaven to taste. This batch I will not gift away! Cost me about $6.00 per jar. But heck it is PASSION FRUIT. Complete heaven on anything.

Perfect if you like sour
The product was packaged well, for long term use when refrigerated. I bought this as my neighbor & I had never tried passion fruit. We found it to be a very very sour crosss between peaches and limes. I tested it, adding reasonable amount of honey, or sugar, even the horrible for you corn syrup, but could not get it to the point where it wasn't too sour for me. My neighbor tried it with alcohol, in a sauce on pork, and felt it worked best with alcohol. Especially after a couple (hee hee)

Perfect for my homemade lilikoi wedding cake
The media could not be loaded. This passionfruit purée was exactly what I needed to make my homemade wedding cake. Fresh Lilikoi were unfortunately a little out of season for the timing of our wedding and we needed a substitute. This product provided more than enough for the cake plus extra. It would also be great in cocktails. We made a delicious curd from this purée. There is no added sugar so the Possibilities are much more open for this purée. Great values for the money.

Not a puree as advertised, it is a water consistency liquid with a sour/bitter taste
I should have read all the reviews before I ordered this. The product is a liquid, not a puree. It is very bitter and sour and nothing like other Passion Fruit Puree I have used in the past. I am used to more of a pulp or thick liquid, not a water consistency. I use the passion fruit puree in a fruit salad and this made all the fruit taste sour. It might be good for cocktails, but my family did not like the sour/bitter taste in the fruit. It almost tasted like it was spoiled. I would have returned it is I was able to. Please also be aware the product is not returnable.

Excellent quality for fresh and baked desserts, smoothies
Excellent! This passion fruit puree is delicious and high quality. It lasts a long time and has a very concentrated flavor that stretches out a long way in smoothies or dessert recipes. I used it to make Valerie Gordon’s rose petal passionfruit petit fours, and they came out tasting exactly like the real thing—which is a very pricey luxury. You may want to freeze some in cubes if you’re not going to use A LOT of it quickly. Unsweetened, potent, excellent product.

Very tart
I know this isn't sweetened but the juice is very tart. I thought it would naturally have a sweeter taste
