The only downside is now I have to actually pay attention to my driving instead of fumbling for a cable like a 2007 caveman.Occasionally takes a second to connect, which is fine. I take a second to connect with society most mornings too.My car is a 2020 Ram 3500 8.4 Uconnect gen 4 system.

Works great. Waited 5 months to write the review and i can honestly say we have maybe had 1 issue with it. i would highly recommend. easy to use, small and compact design. connection is strong. this works better than most $200+. a buddy bought one as well and got rid of the magic box because of all of the issues. said only issue he had was some drops, but after he updated it he has had 0 issues.

I don't have the hassle of cables or an adapter that disconnects frequently. I will be buying another one for my wife's car.

JUNK! Thought this would be good for my 22’ Tacoma, but it does not work unless you keep trying to reconnect to it. That is NOT the purpose this product should be. It connected one time and worked, but then losses all connections when vehicle is turned off…meaning you need to reconnect Bluetooth, passwords, etc. each time. Product is being returned as it’s a non-functioning unit.

The media could not be loaded. This wireless CarPlay adapter checks does exactly what I was searching for. I would always plug my phone in no matter how short of a trip I was taking. In time I would start to experience issues with the cable connectivity to my phone. Those days are over! Now I can leave my phone in my pocket or set it in the console and it automatically connects within a few seconds. Another aspect that drew me towards this adapter was its size. This adapter is fairly small and doesn’t get in the way at all. My vehicle is a 5th gen 4Runner which is CarPlay compatible and this device works very well. On occasion when the head unit starts up, the screen remains dark. Pulling the dongle out of the USB port and putting it back in seems to instantly fix the connection issue and CarPlay starts up without fail. By on occasion I’m talking every 20-30 times I start the car. I will take this minor inconvenience any day over the wired connection. I’ve read other reviews where lag is an issue. I haven’t really noticed that with this device. I suppose there is a slight delay when skipping songs through Pandora however it doesn’t bother me any. The cost of this device is well worth the ease and convenience to add wireless CarPlay to your head unit.
